David brings 20+ years experience in assisting clients with estate planning, probate and legal life coaching. His breadth of expertise also includes real estate and corporate counsel. As the head of the firm, David is a natural born leader and counselor. He has the ability to provide intelligent legal advice while also making people feel extremely relaxed and comfortable in his presence.

David graduated in 1992 with honors from Touro Law Center in Huntington, NY. He was Founder and first President of the Touro Dispute Resolution Society, which continues to provide mediation training and certification to law students since 1990. His degrees include Juris Doctor from Touro Law Center, a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy & Comparative Religion from The Colorado College and Business & Environmental Studies from Cornell University.

He has several memberships which include the American Bar Association, Colorado Bar Association, Boulder County Bar Association, Boulder County Estate Planning Council and Boulder Chamber of Commerce. David is intimately involved with his community, serving on several non-profit boards.

He is also an outdoorsman and can be found biking back roads or hiking trails during his free time. David resides in the mountains of Boulder with his wife and two teenage daughters.

My father died in 2009 with challenging legal circumstances that Mr. Perlick assisted me to navigate. He continues to help me manage the Estate and its varied details, avoiding pitfalls common layperson is not likely to be aware, and seeks the best benefit and ease of transitions. David incorporated my company and has been there up through our growth from start-up to 23,000 subscribers!
If you want a lawyer you can find one anywhere. If you want an intelligent partner who truly cares about your business and helps you make strategic decisions (that are also protect you from a legal standpoint) then contact David. I met with David when I had not even formed my company yet and I literally will have him as part of my team for the rest of my career. An example of his brilliance was his insistence on our filing of our patents and trademarks. We were able to sell one of our trademarks (that we were no longer using) to Weight Watchers for $250,000 and that never would have happened without David. Some people view legal fees as a necessary expenditure that hurts their bottom line. I view David's time as an investment in my company and to be honest he is a bargain. In summary, if I was asked to take 5 of my best contacts to battle for the most important business challenge of my life David would flat out be one of them.
