My experience includes representing both plaintiffs and defendants in personal injury, business litigation, and employment law matters. I received her J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Toledo College of Law School of Law, where I served as a Technical Editor of the University of Toledo Law Review. I am also a member of Order of the Coif and Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. After completing law school, I worked as an insurance defense attorney in Ohio. Though I found the experience I gained from the insurance industry invaluable, I was dissatisfied working against the needs of injured people. I moved to Colorado in 2011. Since then, Amy has represented individuals in personal injury cases, as well as individuals and businesses in employment law matters.

STAY AWAY
If I could give half of a star I would...not even sure where to begin. Amy was filled with lies from the moment we started working together. She would spend hours on the phone with me and you could hear the passion in her voice for our case. She made several promises regarding timeline and action s...

Poor communication and follow through
She took my case for wrongful termination. After what I considered a good but slow start, she did not follow through on getting a case filed. Communications were always difficult. She made commitments early in the engagement that she delayed implementing and then did not ever bring to conclusion.

Knowledgeable and Responsive
Amy was fantastic to work with. I needed help with a severance negotiation and she provided great feedback and advice on how to proceed. Amy was extremely knowledgeable and responsive. She is readily available whenever I needed to talk and goes above and beyond to help her clients with their issues....

Excellent and personable attorney
Amy Burma did an outstanding job for me in my employment litigation and was truly a pleasure to work with. She was communicative, knowledgable about the legal aspects of my case, but was also able to work well with the opposing counsel in a pragmatic way while also aggressively pursuing my claim.
"I have known Amy since the inception of her legal career. She has continuously proven herself to be a smart and extremely capable attorney. Amy litigates her cases with vigor and unquestionably puts her clients' interests first and foremost. I highly recommend Amy if you're looking for an experienced, skillful, and responsive attorney to handle your matter."
"Amy is a great lawyer who I have consulted with on several cases. I would recommend her without hesitation."
"Amy Burma is skilled, knowledgeable and pays attention to details. Having had cases with her, as an attorney I would hire her to represent me or my family without reservation. This is the highest compliment I can give another attorney."
