Attorney Recommendation

Amy represented me in a lawsuit. She was an excellent communicator. She always answered my phone calls and e-mails with succinct and concise explanations and in terms that I could easily understand. I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone in need of an employment law attorney.

Knowledgeable, thorough and professional

Amy spent the time to hear my situation and provide guidance regarding my employment situation. She provided an estimate for probability of success in disputing my claim, provided an estimate of what I could reasonably expect in compensation, recommended alternatives I could pursue other than litigat...ion as well as a referral for my insurance claim. I would absolutely hire Amy for representation in any legal matter that she specializes in.

Unbelievable attorney. Strategic, hard-working, and in my corner for a very complex case.

Amy is an absolutely incredible attorney and she helped me successfully achieve my goal. I was owed money for work performed and was having difficulty collecting. Amy took the time to learn the nuances of my case, my industry, and my goals before helping me get the job done. Personally, I knew what a...n ideal outcome looked like and Amy always kept that in mind when acting on my behalf or advising my actions. I spoke with 8 other Colorado-based employment and labor law firms before choosing Amy, and I'm so glad I went with her practice! Over the course of this case, Amy had to do a wide-variety of tasks including negotiating on my behalf, reviewing contracts and agreements, drafting other documents, key conversation prep, and general strategic advising. Everything that she created exceeded my quality expectations and was done in a timely manner. Her coaching was invaluable to advance my own ends and also make sure that I didn't make any unforced errors. Amy is also exceptionally sharp, picking up nuanced scenarios faster than I expected, and, when combined with her business acumen, competitive spirit, and thorough understanding of Colorado law, makes for a great attorney for all of your employment needs. Thankfully, my case did not require litigation, but, if it did, I would have slept easy knowing Amy was representing me. Amy was perfectly communicative and all of my bills were very clear, matched up with my own rough accounting, and felt like a great value. When can you ever say that about an attorney! One last small but important note, Amy is very easy to work with in this new COVID world we all live in. She is technologically savvy and never once had any technology issues that prevented work from getting done. We developed a strong working relationship over the 9 or so months we worked together which I feel is important when choosing your representation that you could be working with for years at a time, if your case goes to litigation. I can only say positive things about Amy Burma and her work. 10/10.

Knowledgeable and Responsive

Amy was fantastic to work with. I needed help with a severance negotiation and she provided great feedback and advice on how to proceed. Amy was extremely knowledgeable and responsive. She is readily available whenever I needed to talk and goes above and beyond to help her clients with their issues....

Excellent and personable attorney

Amy Burma did an outstanding job for me in my employment litigation and was truly a pleasure to work with. She was communicative, knowledgable about the legal aspects of my case, but was also able to work well with the opposing counsel in a pragmatic way while also aggressively pursuing my claim.
