David Allan Dezen

I have known Attorney David Dezen since 1981 and have had occasion to use his service for some minor legal issues. I have always been impressed with his skills and expertise. He has always managed to find the best possible outcome to any situations and often better than I had hoped. On March 20th of... last year my wife and I received the call in the middle of the night that all parents dread. Our son had been in an accident with a motorcycle and the other drive had died. Our world came crashing down and we found ourselves desperate for help. David Dezen was our first thought and he answered our call at first light. David told me up front that due to prior commitments he would not be able to take us on but was touched by our desperate situation and relented. Our son was facing a lengthy incarceration with a possible sentence of more than twenty years. I have seen many lawyers in action over the years but have never seen a lawyer that actually cared on a personal level about someone like David did for our son. It was very difficult for all of us involved to place our complete trust and faith concerning our son’s life in anyone’s hands. We could not be more thankful that we had attorney Dezen. From our very first appearance we watched David take command of the situation. It became obvious from the beginning that Attorney Dezen is very well known and his many years of work in the Denver area have earned him a friendly well respected reputation. His flawless technical ability in the court room is matched by his interpersonal skills. David was masterful in his ability to bring together a sentence in this case that the victim’s family endorsed and that saved our son and gave him back his life. We cannot say enough about what David Dezen did for our son. Our faith in Attorney Dezen, the wisdom of the legal system and a higher power placed our son back on the path to a healthy and productive life and we will be eternally grateful.

My college age son came home to visit with friends, participated in our states legal marijuana product and subsequently was pulled over and charged with a DUI offense. I hired Mr Dezen on advice from a family lawyer. Mr Dezen accepted the task of defending my son. He clearly established that my so...n was the client and as such established ground rules of accountability with him. He strongly recommended my son attend a drug and alcohol counseling program but yet left it up to him to be accountable. Long story short, my son was able to receive some significant leniency from the court while at the same time learning and internalizing some valuable life lessons. I appreciate Dave’s practical yet accountable approach to this situation and I know my son does as well. Dave is clearly a good and caring man as well as a great attorney.

I have used dave in the past with great results! My child was charged with DUI, Careless Driving and Driving While Ability Impaired. It was her second. David came recommended by a well regarded corporate attorney I know well. From the first conversation I knew we had made the right choice. Excellent preparation and communication. Well thought ...out defense strategy which was a challenge given the facts. At hearing David's strategy was spot on resulting in the DUI and Careless Driving being dropped.
