I recently went through an extremely challenging divorce with a lot of complicated issues. I initially tried to self-represent myself but as we came closer to our permanent orders date it became apparent that I needed representation. My wife and her attorney did nothing but play games, bully me and... mislead me at every turn. That all stopped the minute Joanna became my attorney. When I hired Joanna, she only had a couple weeks to get caught up on my case and prep for trial. Despite the limited time, Joanna jumped right in and got working on my case. She found multiple errors in the documents my wife had submitted that her own attorney did not catch. My case was not able to be settled and we went to trial. Almost every issue was contested, and my wife and her attorney were out for blood. There was a lot at risk and if things went the way my wife had hoped, I was going to be financially devastated for years to come. Joanna was well prepared when we went to court. She has an incredible presence in the court room and is a natural born litigator. Almost every objection she posed was sustained, almost every objection posed by opposing counsel was overruled. Thanks to Joanna I could not have achieved a better outcome, it was far better than anything I could have expected. Had it not been for Joanna I would have been destroyed by my wife's counsel. Instead, the opposite occurred. I have worked with family attorneys in the past due to a previous divorce and child custody issues. I will never work with another attorney again. Joanna is the absolute best, and I will be referring her to everyone I know.
