As in any custody case we has ups and downs. However Anita always went the extra mile in helping explain things and how the process will work. It was nice to have some one that was not only fighting for me but was looking out for my child to make sure he got what was needed by all that were involved....

My divorce was something that had been a long time coming, but nothing could have prepared me for the actual event. I was drowning. I had a 2 year old daughter, no true place to live, recently graduated from school, and about to loose my job because of everything. I hired Anita Springsteen to represent me in my child custody case. I felt that she did not do an adaquate job with her representation. She was ill prepared for court. She seemed very nervous and did not maintain her train of thought in the course of her examination. She frequently got confused and... did not ask obvious follow up questions. After our court date I told her I no longer wanted her representation. She ignored my wishes and continued billing. I then sent two diferrent emails stating that I no longer wanted her representation. She again ignored me and continued billing. When all was said and done she had billed 5900.00 more than our original agreement.

Ms. Springsteen assisted me in reviewing a contract with a vendor and assist in the negotiation of terms. Ms. Springsteen proved to be a shrewd negotiator who helped me catch some minutiae that had been slipped into the contract. During negotiations, Ms. Springsteen was disarming, yet firm and effect...ive. The vendor now jokes about 'haggling with Anita'.
