Awesome!

He walked me through step by step. Kept me informed at all times what was going on with my bankruptcy and what was going to happen. It was a scary time for me in my life and Mr. Cimino and his staff were very helpful and genuinely concerned throughout the whole process.

AVOID John Cimino

John Cimino represented me in a bankruptcy matter. He failed to advise of a hearing, was late for the re-scheduled hearing, failed to file a motion with the court and failed to advise me timely about not filing the motion. I'm sorry I ever heard his name - was referred to Cimino by an 'expert'.

Shameful.

First mistake was we paid him in full up front. Upon realizing a detail of our case that we had clearly informed him about at least one month prior, at the last minute of our filing meeting he advised that we wait to file the case, refused to fully research and resolve the simple legal question, and... held us "hostage" by continuing to take creditor calls for over a year while expending our prepaid case fees and never resolving the legal question despite our repeated attempts at resolution. We eventually hired another competent attorney (paying fees and costs again) who already knew the easy answer to our case question. Our new attorney filed our case and it went through with no problems whatsoever. Cimino clearly does not fully understand the area of law he presumes to practice, in addition to being arrogant and disorganized, not returning calls, not fully answering questions, and worst of all, not being curious enough about THE LAW to research issues and seek solutions THAT HIS CLIENTS HAVE PAID HIM GOOD MONEY TO KNOW AND EMPLOY or at minimum to SEEK, FIND AND EMPLOY on their behalf. At the end he offered in writing to refund our money, but then never did. We believe he used the legal complication as a means of trying to extract more money from us, and when we wouldn't do that, he created a very tense situation rather than handle it like a professional. The delay in filing and discharging our case caused ongoing harm to our family, and we ended up paying close to three times Cimino's fee to finally resolve our case. He breached his fiduciary obligations in numerous ways. STAY AWAY FROM HIM and his firm at all costs.
