Mr. William”Bill” Thode is the worst Atty you could ever hire! I hired him for a divorce my husband initiated after 35 years of marriage. I was broken and didn’t know who to turn to. I did a Google search and found Mr. Bill Thode, He had great credentials. Boy was I wrong I had never hired an attorne...y before, but I knew something was wrong because he never returned my phone calls and then he became so nasty. He would yell at me! He promised me he would represent me after one of his colleagues fell ill and was hospitalized for months, but that never happened. Bill never attended any of the pre-trial or the trial itself. I was never given any instructions on how to prepare. NOT one piece and I mean not one piece of evidence was put in front of the judge. The judge deemed me irresponsible, inadequate and said he had never heard of the things that I had to put forward because my attorneys never told me what to do!!!! I relied on them. I paid over 80K to him and in return received 20% of my husband’s and my assets I was humiliated and depressed. My life is never been the same! noy only was I going through the worst times of my life, Mr. Bill Thode made it 100 times worse!!!! . Do not use Bill phone for your Atty. Stay far away and run far away.!!!!!

Bill and his team really helped me through a tough spot in my life. Hired Bill after consultations with other attorneys due to his confidence, and knowledge in family law. He Actually seemed like he WANTED to help me not just that he was willing to help me. I had a classic yet complicated case of ex wife hates new girlfriend and therefore used the kids as weapons and... made up false accusations to try and have them taken from me. Bill was sympathetic of my case and after hiring him got right to work giving me a list of to do's and a game plan that saved me money in the end by allowing me to do some of the legwork myself to save on costs if I wanted to. There was times he could be a little hard to get ahold of which is understandable as he's very busy. However when it came down to crunch time he was 100% devoted to my case. In the courtroom he was fierce and definitely knew his stuff as he had opposing counsel backing down with his tail between his legs all the while staying cool and composed like it was just a walk in the park. In the end he not only got what we wanted and cleared our name, but I actually ended up getting MORE parenting time than I previously had with my kids and restrictions put on their mom to keep this from happening again. Overall I'd definitely recommend Bill to anyone who's serious about winning their case.

Bill is great and very personable. I interviewed three attorneys prior to hiring Bill, and I connected with Bill far more than any other. I like that Bill not only knows the laws inside and out so we could brainstorm various approaches, he also knows the practical application of the law in Colorado... so we can think through potential outcomes. I also like that Bill listens and never pushed an agenda or outcome, he wanted to do what was in my heart and what I thought was best for me. While Bill has a solid background in the courtroom, he was able to help me mediate to resolve the issues as cost effectively and peacefully as possible, despite the challenging nature of divorce cases with children involved. He really helped me meet my goals by keeping this out of court. I highly recommend Bill. He's a good guy, knows what he is doing, is honest, and was very fair with costs.
