Lindsey Nichole Daugherty currently practices in the areas of Family Law, Estate Planning and Criminal Law. She graduated from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2012 and founded her law firm in 2013. The mission of The Law Firm of Lindsey Daugherty, LLC, is to provide quality legal services to fellow Coloradoans and show that the best can be made of any legal situation.
Lindsey moved to Loveland, Colorado, when she was 12 years old and graduated from Thompson Valley High School before attending the University of Northern Iowa on a soccer scholarship. Attending college in Iowa allowed Lindsey the opportunity to become very involved in both local and national political campaigns.
Throughout the duration of law school, Lindsey was fortunate enough to have many internships in which she gained practical knowledge of the legal system. She had a variety of internships in both Washington, D.C., and Denver, Colorado. In Denver she has clerked for Colorado Legal Services, the Victim Justice Law Firm, and multiple judges in both Arapahoe and Jefferson counties. In Washington, D.C., she was part of the for-profit college investigation with the Oversight and Investigation Subcommittee of the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee. Additionally, in her last semester of law school, she was an intern for the White House Domestic Policy Council, specializing in education policy. This variety of legal experiences has given her the knowledge to open her own firm and she is very excited to start helping people with their legal issues.
Lindsey is a member of the American Bar Association, Colorado Bar Association, Denver Bar Association and the Colorado Women’s Bar Association. She also volunteers for the American Red Cross, Metro Volunteer Lawyers, and the Denver Rescue Mission. Lindsey recently ran her first marathon and hopes to run a few more this summer and in the future.

Best experience with an attorney that I have ever had!
Lindsey has given me hope that attorneys are not in the business just for the money. She was very helpful and really made me feel like I was a friend and not just another client. If I have any more legal issues for any circumstance I will definitely use Lindsey again.

Lindsey Daugherty Review
Lindsey put together a living will for me. Although I had very little knowledge in this area, Lindsey made the process painless. She was very punctual kept me informed throughout. She even helped me find a notary after the document had been drafted.

Great Lawyer
A great attorney that was very knowledgeable and really kept me informed of all my options throughout the whole process.
"Ms. Daugherty is hard-working, tenacious, and creative. She cares--really cares--about the well-being of her clients and works tirelessly to make that a reality. When the chips are down, you want Ms. Daugherty in your corner. I certainly look forward to working with her on future matters."
"Lindsey is a fantastic, smart, professional attorney. I have enjoyed working with her and recommend her as an attorney."
"Ms. Daugherty and I had a heavily disputed family law case against one another. I was impressed by her compassion, work ethic and ability as an attorney. I endorse this lawyer."
"I referred a case to Lindsey that initially was supposed to be for a limited purpose. However, Lindsey established a wonderful rapport with the clients and ended up representing them in a long case. She worked very hard, as she always does, to ensure their rights were protected in a very high conflict custody case. Such work is typical of her and her practice. I would recommend her to anybody looking for a qualified attorney."
"Lindsey works tirelessly toward resolving cases in favor of her clients. I would strongly recommend her!"
"Lindsey is a great attorney who deeply cares about her clients while being a powerhouse in the courtroom. I endorse this lawyer."
