Excellent

I hired mister McKenna at April 2016. The best lawyer ever. He helped me with my bankruptcy a lot. I will recommend him to everyone who need a help.

Very Knowledgeable & Helpful.

I hired Mr. McKenna back on October 2016 to guide me with the bankruptcy procces, due to some circumstances I had to extend the filling. He was very helpful, professional, provided a lot of information regarding the BK procces, always returned my phone calls and E-mails, very patient on waiting to ...filed my case, understanding and his fees are very reasonable. I would recommend Mr. McKenna to anyone who is thinking filling Bankruptcy. Thank you Mr. McKenna for making the BK procces so easy.

Efficient and Helpful

Andrew McKenna was very helpful and knowledgeable through out my entire bankruptcy proceeding. Bankruptcy can be stressful and overwhelming but I felt comfortable having Mr. McKenna at my side through the process. He is helpful, responds quickly and answers questions proficiently.

Cold and dispassionate Bankruptcy Attorney

Did his job by only doing the bare minimum. Cold and dispassionate. Made me feel like he was just in it solely for the money. Used every opportunity to charge extra fees. When I had to cancel my court appearance due to health problems I called his office to tell them I would not be there he went to c...ourt anyway so he could charge me another $300.00.

The hearing my client refers to is the Meeting of the Creditors. This is a Federal Court proceeding and both my attendance and my client’s attendance are mandatory. Failure to appear at the hearing will subject my client potentially to a dismissal of his or her case. Clients are given 3 to 4 weeks advance notice of the hearing so continuances are not frequent. If my client cannot physically attend due to an illness for example, I am required to attend the hearing regardless and request a continuance to another date, mail notices of the continued hearing to all of my client’s creditors and attend the subsequent hearing. If the client learns a reasonable time before the hearing that he or she cannot attend (which is rare) and allows me sufficient time for me to confer with the trustee, request a continuance and notice the creditors of the continuance before the hearing, I am not required to attend both the initial hearing and the continued hearing. In either case, given the mandatory nature of the hearing and that additional legal services are required if the client fails to attend, I charge additional fees. The $300.00 fee is set forth in my fee agreement which I review with each and every client before they sign it. I am considerate of all of my client’s circumstances, am sensitive to the fact that my client’s are in financial crisis, and strive in every case to easy their stress.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
