Real Estate Construction Defect

I was referred to Jeff by one of my clients who is also a real estate investor and fix n flip guy. When I first met with Jeff, he gave me his background of experience in this scope of law. He then explained how construction defect cases work as well as the ins and outs of how to navigate through one ...successfully. He thought from the beginning that there was no real claim but that we had to fight this as fraud and conspiracy were being charged. Long story short, we went to mediation and settled for less than what my attorney fees would have been to fight this. Btw, this dragged on for almost a year before we got to this point. While I didn't like the idea of settling as I felt that I did everything right in the sale of the home, the thought of wasting time and money in a trial made the outcome much more tolerable.

Divorce

Mr Wittebort, is a great divorce attorney. He was straight forward and "honest". When I was asking for some unreasonable request he let me know that it would not be allowed in the divorce guidelines. When I got to court my husband asked for everything and I walked away with every I wanted. This pr...ocess was so much easier with Mr. Wittebort that I was not as stressed out as I have seen some of my friends

Divorce attorney-NO

I utilized this attorney in my divorce and it was a complete joke. After over a year he bailed on me two and a half weeks prior to permanent orders and I went in alone and got slaughtered. I would not use him for a traffic ticket! My divorce is being re-opened after my ex was just convicted of Per...jury and Theft regarding items he claimed I had all throughout the divorce proceedings. Jeff Wittebort is NOT your man!

This review is completely inaccurate. This client was arrested because she was drunk and assaulted her husband. She also took about $30,000 of checks made out to her husband and signed them and deposited them into her account. She is now on her forth marriage. I resigned as her attorney 4-5 months prior to her permanent orders hearing and she could not find another attorney to take her case as she was so demanding. She appeared pro se at the hearing then left after lunch 4 hours before the hearing was complete. She simply abandoned her own case. She was ordered to pay back the money she took from her husband by signing checks she had no authority to sign. I was able to talk the police out of arresting her for theft and forgery. she blames every one but herself for problems she causes.

Lousy

I used this attorney for a domestic child abuse case and what a joke. He did not show up for our court hearing, leaving me to have to fight for myself - thank God I knew another attorney that could step in, even though he does nothing in domestic cases. Spent $5000 and got absolutely nothing out of i...t. Child is still with father 50%!! How do you lose a case like this?? Laziness, lack of compassion, and no ability to listen. He continuously thought I had a son (I have a daughter), could not remember what we talked about 10 minutes after spoken, and charged me for phone conversations in which 90% of the conversation he would ramble on about his own family situation. I absolutely DO NOT recommend using this "attorney".

I have no idea who this person is however I have never missed a hearing in my life over the 30 plus years I have been in practice. I think that this is the same client who posted my other negative review. This person apparently was charged with child abuse and is upset she had to share parenting time with her former husband and does not believe men should be involved in there childrens lives after a divorce. I work hard for me clients, have an excellent winning percentage, am always on time and prepared, and truly care about my clients.

**I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS ATTORNEY!!

I hired Mr. Jeff Wittebort for my divorce case and I was not at all pleased with him or his work!!! He is very arrogant and does not care at all for his clients well being and for there best Interest in what is a very hard and emotional time for most people, and are looking to hire an attorney that w...ill provide the best representation during these matters! Mr. Jeff Wittebort could care less for other peoples needs or well being and his poor attitude says it all!! If you are seeking to hire a divorce/custody attorney to help you, please seek else where as this guy is not the at all someone you should hire or to trust with your case! I regret my poor descion in deciding to hire Mr. Jeff Wittebort and will never use him again for any type of case nor will I ever recommend him to anyone I know!!
