Just a horrilbe person in general

Please do not use this woman as a CFI for your case. The fact that her title says she cares about the kids is so far from the truth. I personally hired Celia for our custody case. She met with the opposing party first and was against me from the start. Every member of my family she spoke with sai...d she was rude, interruptive, and very unprofessional. Someone in this position should be able to take out the emotions from the case and look at the facts. She did none of this. My daughter, who was 10 at the time, said that the entire time she spoke face to face with Celia, Celia seemed very disconnected and wasn't really paying attention. She would interrupt her and almost guide her to certain answers. My daughter was in tears from their meeting. Celia's recommendations for our case were so far from what either party were even going for. She planted these ideas in the opposing parties head that had never even come up in the case. After submitting her recommendations to the court, there were so many grammatical errors as well as false information. It seemed like she didn't even take the time to carefully write things out and review them. Since the case, my life has been flipped upside down and my daughter is now facing so many challenges in her young life that were never there before. She is facing things that she should never have to face. She was a happy and vibrant child and is now struggling day to day. We are now having to look at therapy to help her face some of these struggles.

A Lawyer who has experience, knowledge and cares about the kids.

Celia is firmly aware of how to work a case. She is known by the professionals in my county and is trustworthy enough for them to recommend her. She treated my case with extreme fairness and listened to all of the facts. She cares about the truth and fairness for all. Working between battling pa...rents and quarreling ex's must be near impossible but she treated me and my ex with great concern FOR OUR CHILDREN! That is an important FACT. You do not want a lawyer who will side with one person or another you want one who will do WHAT IS BEST FOR YOUR CHILDREN! I needed her during a family crisis and she stopped what she was doing on a Sunday and drove literally across town to meet with me.

Fair, Competent, Recommended

y'all sound like some bitter ex's who didn't get their way in court probably because what you wanted want's in the best interest of your child. Celia handled a difficult case for our family and was able to shift through the hurt, hate and bad intentions to act in accordance with the child's best inte...rest. in hindsight she was 100% right and fair and our family as we know it owes her a debt of gratitude.

Deceptive

I have worked with some very amazing attorneys in the past as well as have quite a number of friends that practice in all different areas of law. I would recommend any and all of the attorneys I have worked with in the past except Ms. Harned. She is too busy for you, always brushes off any question...s, does not follow through or respond to emails or voice messages, she is not thorough, she makes A LOT of mistakes AND submits them in her reports to the court. Ms. Harned is deceptive and will say whatever you want to hear. She is primarily looking out for herself and is spineless and when push comes to shove, as it often does in court, she does NOT fight for what's right, she will give in to what makes her life easier. I was extremely disappointed in her legal ethics and integrity, she is clearly just doing a J.O.B. and unfortunately even that, bare bones doing the work wasn't even done well or accurately. If I did my work at her standards I would have been fired a long time ago.

Celia Harned biased and unprofessional

I'm going to echo what other reviewers have already said. It saddens me that Celia Harned is still practicing law based on her bias, unprofessionalism, and incompetence. She misspelled our child's name, her report looked to have been done in a haste and full of run-on sentences and grammatical errors.... In fact, her final report included a smiley face which I found to be very unprofessional! Her emails were also unprofessional. Her emails read like text messages, words like "you," "through," though," and "okay" were spelled "u" "thru" "tho" and "k." Emails never included a subject, capitol letters, or any punctuation. She is a professional and her communications were far from it.

Family lawyer | Aug 27

Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community

"I have found Ms. Harned to be thorough and hardworking. She cares very deeply about the children who are involved in her case and doing the best she can for getting it as right as she can. There is always going to be one person who does not like the outcome even thought it is very likely right. The standard is the best interests of the children, not the best interests of the parents and Ms. Harned keeps this in mind throughout her process."
