I provided Mariah with a retainer and ended up filing everything needed myself! I asked for two things from my divorce as my children are grown. I wanted half of the equity in my home and half of his retirement money. After six months, I had neither. She pressed me to push my ex to get another job an...d pay support which I specifically said I did not want from him. One day she called to let me know I had run out of the retainer funds and would need to replenish it or complete the divorce myself! Fortunately, I was able to reach an agreement directly with my ex-husband at which time I filed everything myself. Mariah continued to file motions with the court and never returned any of the remaining funds to me. I am beyond disappointed because I feel she never intended to represent me and my needs! I do not recommend!
