Very disappointing

I could give zero stars. Cheryl represented me in divorce case and I was not represented in a professional way and her lack of knowledge in presenting critical evidence was zero. I thought that someone holding a license for 40 years would be more knowledgeable. Your life depends on representation, ...go somewhere else if you want professional. Thank me later!

Fantastic Child Custody attorney

I was referred to Cheryl through a friend who had used her for his divorce. He said she was the best, and he was right. I am in my second custody battle with my ex husband. Cheryl has handled both. She has always been kind yet to the point in explaining everything to me I need to know and then some.... She does not waste my time/money but is always there when I need her. I feel she is an advocate for my child's best interest over her own paycheck. She is very to the point , which is what you want in a good attorney. I always know what I need to do and when I need to do it. She is very compassionate and kind and I find her easy to talk to. I feel like she has been part of the family "team" in getting my child through what has been a rough 3 years for him. I would recommend her services and have several times, to anyone looking for legal help.

Highly aggressive, organized and experienced

Cheryl was listed as one of many attorneys participating with my legal plan. I interviewed many before hiring her. Other attorneys seemed cold, had less years of experience, some felt as if I had to pull teeth to get information as I did not know what questions to ask them and they offered little to ...keep the conversation going. One attorney told me I had "no chance at all" in winning any of my divorce ask of the court because Colorado is an automatic 50/50 state and advice I agree to all of my husbands terms. Cheryl stood out from other attorneys and her 30 years of experience shined through immediately. I felt she listened attentively and explained both the pros and the cons for all my concerns. My divorce was filled with emotional and sexual abuse, a restraining hearing, fight for the martial home, custody fight for physical and decision making for the kids, we were even fighting over a vacuum. Cheryl was able to step in handle it all. At times I did shutdown from the stress and grief, she was able to keep me ground and snap me back on track. Some of my concerns were ridiculous and she had no problem with telling me when I was being unreasonable and talking me through it. Everything she presented to the court was timely, well-organized, even her pretrial prep was well thought through. Previous attorneys left me feeling nervous, scared and doubtful. With Cheryl, she was professional, I felt I had a voice in what was happening, she was courteous to my husband not to make matters worst, but was never a pushover. Thanks to Cheryl, I walked away from my marriage with my head held high and with what I earned and felt my kids deserved, I was pleased with her results. I will be retaining her for any post divorce issues that may pop up and for setting up a will. I can absolutely, honestly and unconditionally say I recommend Cheryl Mulvihill 100%.
