Fantastic lawyer who really cares!!

Kathy represented me in my divorce in 2013 and again counseled me with a change in child support in 2015. From start to finish she was kind and professional and genuinely cared for me and my children and made sure that the terms of my divorce were as fair as they could be. She let me cry it out and ...then helped me find my voice and get strong! I am very happy with my settlement and am able to take great care of myself and my kids! Yes... she is busy but her assistant Nicole is great at getting back to you and helping. In tough situations where you need a fair, smart and genuine lawyer....you can't find any better than Kathy.

Get what you pay for.

Kathy volunteered to take my Parental Agreement case Pro Bono. I believe she thought it would be a quick churn & burn case. When it proved to be more detailed, Kathy put zero effort into representation. Kathy wouldn't allow both parties to meet for the discussion, again hoping to minimize effort. All... custodial gains were obtained not through her, but by my direct interaction with the other parental party. I applaud Kathy for taking my case, but would rather have a lawyer that would actually fight for me. She threatened to withdraw if I didn't agree with the unfavorable terms. The second the Parental Agreement was signed by both parties, Kathy did withdraw as counsel, despite agreement violations and Post Decree Appeals. The case is far from resolved, yet Kathy is now nowhere to be found. Numerous, numerous voicemail and email have gone unreturned over the past few months. Maybe she puts work into paying clients?

HAPPY CLIENT

Kathy was top notch. The marital estate was very large and my spouse was not truthful. Kathy caught every trick and we finally settled. I was referred to Kathy by my doctor and am so thankful I hired her. She is very personal and smart.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
