Nicole Marie Royer

Attorney Nicole (Nikki) Royer is an experienced attorney heading up her own firm, handing all levels of estate planning and administration. She is passionate about helping clients plan an appropriate and effective estate that will minimize taxes and other costs while ensuring a smooth transition for the family. Nikki has assisted families who have beneficiaries with special needs, Medicaid concerns and complex assets.

Nikki possesses a unique array of experience which gives her a solid understanding of financial and social concepts integral to successful estate planning including establishing and administering charitable giving programs, securities regulation, international business and adoptions and managing corporate transactions.

Nikki’s practice has been focused exclusively on estate planning and administration for the last seven years. Nikki is a member of the prestigious Wealth Counsel, an organization committed to promoting the highest standards of excellence in estate planning. She also serves on the advisory board of the Community First Foundation and other organizations.

Nikki is a Colorado native, born at the U.S. Air Force Academy. She earned her Business degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder in 1995 and her Juris Doctorate from the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law in 1998 during which she discovered her passion for helping families while guiding them through the U.S. adoption procedure with Chinese Children International.

Nikki served as senior associate counsel and director of corporate charitable giving for a large insurance company in Denver. Prior to that, she worked for a New York/London law firm helping manage mergers, acquisitions, and privatizations. She also helped to launch the first online legal research service in the United Kingdom, Westlaw U.K. and has served as an attorney assisting families in securing the adoption of Chinese children. This unique array of experiences gives Nikki a deep understanding of the needs of her clients in establishing their legacy.

Outside of the office, Nikki enjoys skiing and hiking at her home in Colorado or boating, camping and sailing during the summer in Montana with her children.
