A former Colorado Court of Appeals Judge, Marsha Piccone concentrates her practice at Rollin Braswell Fisher LLC (RBF Law) on complex commercial litigation, litigation management, products liability litigation, appeals, and arbitrations. She is a well-known Colorado commercial litigator and appellate lawyer and has extensive experience as regional, local, trial, and appellate counsel for several major corporations. She has represented corporate clients in a variety of industries including manufacturers of pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and other consumer products. In her career, she has directed litigation and supervised local counsel in federal and state courts in Colorado and throughout the United States.
Marsha gained tremendous experience in appellate law when she was appointed to the Colorado Court of Appeals in 2003. On the bench, she authored nearly 200 appellate opinions and participated on appellate panels ruling on hundreds of Colorado cases. She relies on her blended experience in complex commercial litigation and appellate law to preside over Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) proceedings at RBF Law. Her ADR practice includes mediations, arbitrations, and panels with the American Arbitration Association (AAA). She is also a lecturer that is regularly asked to speak on issues related to Colorado trial practice and appellate issues.
Over the years, Marsha has been named repeatedly to the Colorado Super Lawyers and Best Lawyers in America lists. She has been AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell since 2006. Marsha stays connected to the legal community through bar association activity and is currently the appointed chair of the Colorado Supreme Court Committee on Pattern Civil Jury Instructions. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder and her law degree from the University of Colorado School of Law.
