Colleen R Belak

Ms. Belak has practiced law for over 20 years in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, business transactions, corporate and business law, intellectual property and commercial litigation.  Prior to obtaining her law degree, Ms. Belak managed a small business and worked in the banking industry.  She puts this experience to good use by delivering practical advice that balances the legal and business risks with the realities of running a business.

She acts as corporate or outside general counsel to small and mid-size businesses and advises them on a wide range of matters, including:

Ms. Belak is licensed to practice in Colorado and is admitted to practice in all Colorado state courts, the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, U.S. Bankruptcy Court and U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Ms. Belak is involved in numerous legal and community organizations, including the Denver Advisory Board, Executive Women’s Golf Association, Business Resource Alliance Group, TiE Rockies, American and Colorado Bar Associations and their Business Law and Intellectual Property subsections, Arapahoe County Bar Association, Colorado Women’s Bar Association and The Law Club. Ms. Belak has served on the boards of directors of several community organizations that assist at-risk youth and other non-profit organizations and served on the Denver/Boulder Better Business Bureau Advertising Ethics Council.
