My wife and I had Marc prepare a trust for us. I am a lawyer myself and spent fifteen years as a judicial officer. However I do not have estate planning experience. I did not know Marc before meeting him as I am relatively new to Colorado. I can say without any reservation Marc is one of the best la...wyers I have encountered in my many years of working with attorneys. He is obviously an expert in his field. He is highly organized and produces a product that not only is understandable, but he reviews step by step everything in the binder that you receive. He is very patient and answers all questions in an understandable way. You walk out of the office with your documents in the binder, and also with a written checklist of things to do. His fees are extremely reasonable considering all the hours he spends with you plus the documents you receive. Without any hesitation whatsoever, I would recommend Marc for any estate planning.

Mr. Carlson is located about 45 minutes from our home, but my husband and I decided to hire him, rather than a local attorney, after reading his reviews on AVVO and meeting him in person. Mr. Carlson clearly explains the differences between wills and trusts, and, after we made our decisions, docu...ments were prepared within one week for our signatures. He establishes follow up meetings, if desired, and he provides timely responses to our questions. We found his fees quite reasonable. We now have legal documents which will protect our interests and wishes in the event of incapacity, last illness, or death. While these are never easy subjects to consider or discuss, Mr. Carlson made the process as comfortable as it could possibly be. Mr. Carlson presents these materials in a large binder which clearly annotates the documents needed for various events. The binder also contains numerous, helpful, articles and summaries for us as well as our successor trustee. I'm sure the ease of finding necessary information during future stressful times will help us (and our successor) immeasurably. We highly recommend Mr. Carlson.
