Kevin Ellmann began his legal career in 1997 when he served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable William F. Dressel in the 8th Judicial District. (Judge Dressel is now the President of the National Judicial College). In 1998, Kevin became a Deputy District Attorney in the 18th Judicial District, District Attorney's Office, in Arapahoe County, Colorado. After gaining legal experience prosecuting criminal cases in the County, Juvenile and District Courts, Kevin went to the Douglas County office in 2002 and continued to handle cases in the District Courts, becoming a Senior Deputy in 2005. Kevin left the District Attorney's Office in December 2006. That is when Kevin began his career of representing those charged with crimes. By focusing on criminal defense, Kevin is able to provide personal, competent service to those who have been charged with a criminal act. Kevin's skills in negotiation, understanding the legal issues and trial techniques provide his clients with a quality of representation that sets him apart from others.

Kevin was my Domestic Violence defense attorney.Kevin surprised me by his representation and passion. If you have been charged with a crime you should hire Kevin.I am very happy with my results and the representation he provided. All my charge dismmised.He is honest, respectfull. Nothing short of perfection.
Now were do I begin, I contacted Mr. Ellmann over a three year period while I had felony warrants for my arrest. He always took the time to answer my questions. I assured him I would hire him when I had saved the money to return to Colorado, bond out etc.. When I finally did I had a 27,000 all cash bond, this was scary as I had turned my life around and had I wife and 1 year old son who needed me free. Mr. Ellmann through his connections in the da's office and expertise secured me a surety bond. Furthermore instead of waiting on a sherriff the judge allowed Mr. Ellmann himself to escort me to the intake i was out in 10 hours. Now things looked bad as the da's deal was 3 years DOC. I assured Mr. Ellmann that the substance I possessed was not meth and he never questioned me. It was lab tested and all charges were dismissed except a misdemeanor. Kevin was an absolute warrior in my corner, the DA had every intention of locking me away for 3 years and i got 6 months misdemeanor probation. If you need an attorney in douglas county this your guy. Mr. Ellmann is an ethical lawyer who truly cares about his clients.Thanks again Mr Ellmann.

Very good attorney!
Kevin was my criminal defense attorney. I feel very fortunate to have had him represent me. I am an attorney myself, so when I was charged with a crime, it was a very big deal for me. The impact of my case could have an effect on my law license and ability to practice. Having been an attorney for many years, I have seen a lot of criminal defense lawyers at work. Kevin surprised me by his representation and passion. In my opinion, he is a far better attorney than most. He knows Douglas country inside and out. I am very happy with my results and the representation he provided. I would highly recommend him to anyone. When you are facing a criminal charge - something so serious - not any attorney will do, believe me! You need the best. Someone with skill, experience and demeanor. If you have been charged with a crime, especially in Douglas country, but anywhere in Colorado, you should hire Kevin. You can't put a cost on results in a criminal case. He is well worth every penny!

Hands down, best attorney you will find.
When I found myself facing felony charges, and being in legal trouble for the first time in my life, it was nothing short of a blessing that I found Kevin. OUTSTANDING
I contacted Kevin with a small problem with my license and he jumped right in with both feet and took care of it for me. Being 2000 miles away I put all my trust in him that he would take care of it and not only was it taken care of, the outcome far exceeded my expectations. If you need a lawyer, you need kevin.

Great Attorney
Along with Kevin's knowledge of the law, Kevin also has an edge in that he has great connections in the district attorney's office and knowledge of how they opperate. Kevin knows when a case needs to settle and when to push the case to trial. Kevin has never let me down and I have referred Kevin to several people who inform me that they too were satisfied by his representation.

Outstanding and Superior Attorney
Last fall, I was facing two very serious felony charges. Working in the financial industry, these charges were potentially career-threatening. After speaking with several attorneys, I had the pleasure of a face-to-face consultation with Mr. Ellmann. From the very beginning of our meeting, I knew he was far above and beyond a typical attorney. He was very honest, understanding, straight-forward and punctual. He never set false expectations and could always be counted on to be direct. This being my first time offense and completely unaware of the legal processes, Mr. Ellmann always took the time to interpret every detail of the legalities in a language I could understand. Kevin Ellmann is a wonderful lawyer

Hopefully you don't need a lawyer, but if you do, Kevin is a good option. I used him for a domestic case. I was able to get a favorable outcome at the end of the day. Kevin helped answer all of my questions.
