Biography
I've been a proud and active member of the Rotary Club of Castle Rock since 1986. Rotary is the largest and one of the oldest Community Service organizations. It was founded by a Chicago attorney named Paul Harris in 1905. In conjunction with the Gates Foundation and the UN, Rotary International is on the verge of erradicating Polio from the face of the earth by preventive vaccinations. Rotary has been able to accomplish this remarkable feat largely because it has clubs located in over 50 countries. I believe organizations like Rotary may be our best hope for peace and harmony on this globe.

The worse attorney in this area
Worse experience I have ever had. I do not recommend or trust him. He charged me $1,500 for a simple will and when I asked him to modify a simple change he asked me for anther $1,400 or he will drop me as a client. And he did.

Replied last September 12, 2023Especially as this is the first negative review we have received in my 45 years of practice, I am taking the time to set the record straight. First, our fee to prepare wills with trust provisions for you and your husband 4 years ago was not $1500. It was $1,000---with no added charges for revising them 3 times because you relocated to 2 other states during the process without prior notification to us. I was not able to quote a fee to redo the wills 4 years later because you refused to explain what changes you wished to make. Because you refused to provide the needed information, I told you I could not and will not continue to be your lawyer. I urge anyone reading your 1-star review to also refer to the near unanimous 5-star reviews to put this one into perspective.

Estate Planning
Mr Gubbels prepared a will for myself and my wife. We were very happy with the service which Mr Gubbels provided for us. His fees were very reasonable and he was always available to answer any of our questions. He is very personable and easy to work with. I would highly recommend Mr Gubbels.
