The Most Important Choice You Will Ever Make

I have, unfortunately, been in the family court system since 2015, with no end to the legal aspects of my domestic violence case in sight. As you can imagine, in this time, I have had a lot of experiences with attorneys, and professionals in this field, not just on my own case, but with other women... I support through this process. After being referred to the firm by another friend in 2021, I was fortunate enough to begin working with Jamie and Tracy (her paralegal). As a survivor of DV, I know, firsthand, that this entire process is triggering and scary, especially as it applies to the lives and safety of your children. There is not a single other person in this world that I would want as my attorney outside of Jamie. She is not only the most knowledgeable attorney I have ever met - you should hear this woman spit law at a judge who isn’t following it, and successfully turn a case around - she genuinely cares about her clients and their children. We cannot recommend Ms. Jamie Paine more highly. Jamie is an extraordinarily talented attorney with experience as a trial and family law lawyer. Her mastery of the law regarding family law and the allocation of parental rights led us to an outcome many would not have believed. The overwhelmingly ...favorable final order entered by the judge defied many expectations about grandparents receiving co-parenting rights. We believe Jamie's expertise, legal arguments, and management of hearings and filings were extremely persuasive and resulted in such a positive outcome. As grandparents, our situation was complex. We had lost our daughter to illness and were fighting to maintain contact with the granddaughter we had been primarily responsible for until our daughter passed. Grandparents face an uphill battle when fighting for parental rights. Finding the right lawyer to handle a complex allocation of parental rights can be daunting. Before finding Jamie, we had a different lawyer who was not up to managing our case and wasted a lot of money. Finally, a referral from a family member brought us to Jamie. Jamie gave us straightforward, reasoned legal advice compassionately and clearly. She and her team managed all filings and hearings professionally and on time.
