If you love your children, read this before ever hiring Gina

Gina ignored physical and severe emotional abuse that my ex-wife did to my daughters and did not pursue allegations and facts. She took 8 months to give her feedback and did not interview our witnesses until the last minute and she almost delayed our divorce which already took over a year. I am unfor...tunately relieved to see so many other families that have had a negative experience as I thought I was just being singled out because I am male. It is my hope that someone in the family court system will evaluate her and realize that she should no longer be in this role and her license should be revoked. The result of her negligence is that my children are still being emotional abused to the point that the social worker at my younger daughter's elementary school is investigating new allegations against my ex-wife. I was the one that hired Gina because of a recommendation. I should have spent the money on a child psychologist because at least they would have tried to protect my children and would have reported abuse to the state.

Child Family Investigator- Review

Ms. Weitzenkorn was appointed as our CFI during the divorce process for our child by the court. Do not agree/hire her as your CFI if the other party is a Narcissist and/or is an abusive person(emotionally, verbally, physically or mentally). She is not able to see thru the charm and does not care no...r see abuse. She still granted joint decision making and even recommended exchanges taking place at the parents home, after hearing about the abuse that took place and reviewing my exes long extensive criminal history that also included violence. The timing of her visits to each parents home were also not well thought out by her which completely defeated the purpose as to why a CFI was appointed in the first place. Bottom line- if you are a victim of abuse whether its overt or covert and are going thru a custody battle, find a CFI that is familiar with Narcissistic Personality Disorder and/or is sympathetic about abuse and is looking out for YOUR best interest and the CHILDS.

Child Field Investigative Services

I had theunfortunate experience of having Ms. Weitzenkorn assigned as a Child Field Investigator to my custody case. Although I respect her knowledge for the law and would recommend her to anyone seeking a top-notch and aggressive divorce attorney, she does not display the knowledge, wisdom, intelle...ct and compassion to serve as a Child Field Investigator and relies solely upon her opinions and conjecture. She is biased toward one party, typically the “targeted parent” while showering the “alienating parent” with accolades. My daughter was 14 years old when this unfortunate circumstance transpired. She was in 9th grade and her grades dropped from a 4.0 GPA to a 1.6. There was not one single mention made in Ms. Weitzenkorn’s report about my daughter’s education but rather shallow statements i.e.,: “father takes daughter skiing”, “father had to be spoken to about the benefits of cooking at home rather than taking daughter to bars ..” Her $ 2000 reports are perfunctory and superficial and frankly, I was shocked by the lack of substance and poor grammar. The court wanted to appoint Ms. Weitzenkorn as our parenting coordinator. My daughter will be off to college in two years and that is exactly how long the parenting coordinator would be a part of our lives. I would rather go to jail than sign an agreement or retain the services of a stranger who clearly lacks to intellectual acumen required to render decisions on behalf of my daughter’s future. She does have one recurring theme throughout her assignment(s) --quick turnaround for purposes of profit.

An obstacle to progress

Our family relied on Ms. Weitzenkorn after she became our parenting coordinator to help our family move forward after divorce. Unfortunately she pitted one parent against the other, created turmoil where there was agreement and continued to stir the pot until she was removed. Her paralegal lied to ...both of us, lied to people we signed releases for their office to speak with and cost us both thousands of dollars we didn't have or need to spend. Thankfully we have replaced Gina with a reputable parenting coordinator who was able to allow both of us to vent, helped us focus on our son, together, and we have repaired not only the damage done by Gina but we have come full circle and are now effectively co-parenting.
