Louisa Schlieben

I have hired several attorneys in Colorado over the past ten years with a high conflict divorce and parenting case and Louisa Schlieben was the best attorney I've had. Louisa is very sharp and articulate and did an exceptional job describing my side of the case in written motions and in mediation. Lo...uisa also vigorously advocated on my behalf; I’ve never had an attorney I felt cared about my interests so much, or who did it in such a detailed, careful way. I got a great outcome in my case, but whatever the outcome might have been, I felt like I had excellent representation.

She initially seemed to be very competent and hardworking. Very quickly, it turned out she hardly communicates (in spite of solicitation and requests for updates), misses court deadlines without any communication, and she is very slow in spite of agreements on timelines. Her bills, however, are (obvi...ously) never late. I terminated her contract because she added stress and uncertainty to my life in a moment in which she was instead expected to relieve them. Extremely disappointing.

Ms Schlieben did a very professional, knowledgeable, and thorough job as my attorney in my divorce case. Ms. Schlieben took the time to explain the law to me in person, over the phone, email, or text regarding my case when ever I had questions in order for me to understand why things were the way t...hey were. She's straight and to the point. She's hard core and knows her stuff!! She knows the laws very well and what the judge deems evidence and not. She doesn't waste time and simply got the job done. It was so great to have Louisa help me file for a protection order. She was already at the courthouse when I arrived at our scheduled time, which was so comforting, considering I had never been there before and didn't really know where to go or what I was doing.
