This review is about my experience with the paralegal Lupe and with Victor Parra, who was the attorney on my case at the time. I understand that he has since passed away and won’t see this review, but I still feel it’s important to share what happened. I want to share my experience with the paral...egal who still works at this firm, as it continues to affect me years later. My case was handled by Victor Parra, and while Manuel Parra was not involved in my situation, the paralegal assigned to my case caused several serious issues. At one point, I received paperwork with names and details from someone else’s case mixed in with mine. I had to tell her that I did not know these people and this had nothing to do with me. When I called to point out another error after the documents had already been signed, the paralegal snapped at me and said, “Why wasn’t this brought up before we all got together and signed?”—even though the mistake was hers. I trusted them with my case and had back then, zero knowledge of how court cases worked and dealing with many emotional issues, I failed to understand my court order and trusted that they were taking care of me. In the end, it never got corrected. Another detail I want to mention is, this paralegal failed to include a very important detail on my court order, that I’m now having to go back to court to add in, pay for a new lawyer and go through this whole process again. These kinds of errors in family law have long-term consequences. I’m still dealing with the impact of this today. If you are considering using this firm, I strongly urge you to double-check every document if this paralegal is involved. While I understand the attorney was ultimately responsible for finalizing the documents, the paralegal I worked with made repeated errors and treated me dismissively when I tried to raise concerns. That experience shaped how I feel about working with this firm.

If you’re looking for an attorney to be there for you through and through stand by your side. This is not the attorney for you unfortunately. Not only did I barely have any contact with him regarding my cases. Most of the times that I did come into contact with his office is when when they were requ...esting payments. He always stuck in court I would barely get callbacks from him when I requested them . His assistants said I would need to pay to speak with him when he was busy .When I had a warrant out for my arrest his advice to me was to lay low and to avoid being arrested while he could try to do something for me. I had to leave work for a whole month and not only that he kept pushing my court dates back and I ended up getting picked up and it made me look even worse in front of the judge. He barely defended me in any of my court hearings he would have one statement and after that he would stay silent while the prosecutor had a whole list of things to say about me. Only reason I stuck with him as a lawyer was because I hired his brother initially. Unfortunately after his passing I was not able to get my money back they were going to keep it so I had no choice but to go with him and I regret it fully . He wanted me to sit in jail while I waited for him to fight my case which was practically beat and when I hired him to handle my other case he withdrew after I couldn’t not pay him because I was juggling bills after being released but I was still willing to make small payments. But before I could do so I wanted to speak with him and his assistants requested payment first before I could consult with him. Worst experience I’ve ever had with a paid attorney .

Hired him for 2 cases charged me $400 right away told me not to worry . Court day comes could not get ahold of anyone in his office 15 minutes before walking in to court he calls and say he isn't going that I would be there on my own . He did absolutely nothing but keep my money. I had to pay court c...ost at court called him afterwards and he refused to give me any refund and refused to even refund the extra money I payed at court which judge said would be refunded if anyone had a lawyer. Manuel parra and his team refused to give me 1cent back because I had given them a bad review. They were more concerned about review than about the case I had hired them for. Instead of feeling relieved and helped I just got more stress and ended up losing $500 to people who did not help whatsoever but taking my credit number to get hired. Very disappointed at these people!

This man is completely unprofessional. I given large amounts of false information regarding my case, the outcome, and the real world consequences that this case would bring afterwards. It's not a matter of an unfavorable outcome, it's the shear amount of false information before, during, and after th...e case was dismissed. He told me I would have to wait 2 years in order to file a motion of non disclosure, and I did not have to wait any time period. Such time I was unable to apply for career oriented jobs due to his legal advice of not being able to seal my record until that time period had passed. His office also miss-handled the paper work filing for early termination of probation, which caused me to finish it 2 weeks short of term. Do not waste your money on this man.

Manuel Parra worked with my father in a case to get criminal charges dropped. It is hard enough to find out that a family member is in desperate need, but when we got in contact with Mr. Parra, I knew immediately that it was a step in the right direction. He was very upfront with the situation and di...d not sugar coat the charges that had been filed. After hearing the statements from my father and I(as a witness), he was able to give us a planned course of action in regards to the case. Of course, he did not give us exact court dates since those have to be scheduled but we were contacted to setup those dates. After my father appeared in the first court date to get the bond reduced, it was brought down from $100,000 to $2,500 and only 10% of that amount was due until the trail date. That alone was great news because my father was allowed to continue work and not have to pay $10,000 to stay out of jail. Prior to going to trial, we were notified that the charges had been dropped due to the excellent work of Mr. Parra. My fathers name was cleared and was allowed to move on with his life. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this attorney!!! Thank you!
