GREAT CHOICE

I am a California resident, who was searched at the Sierra Blanca Customs check point on I-10 in Texas. Yes I had less than 2 grams of marijuana in my backpack. I was given a paraphernalia ticket which is a lesser offense in TX. Unfortunately what is lesser degree in Texas is a higher degree crime... in the eyes of the Federal law. As a legal Alien my residency status was in jeopardy. I found Eduardo Solis from Avvo and contacted him to see if he could change the charges to what it really was. He told me his plan of action and the fee. We only talked on the phone, I didn't have to go to Texas for any appearances. He got the case dismissed in a very short time. I was very happy with his performance and promptness. Thank you Mr. Solis!

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
