also known as Ed Solis
I am a criminal defense lawyer who is board certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and have been since 1998. I have tried cases of all levels, from Class C Misdemeanors to several Capital Murder and First Degree Murder trials.
I have tried cases in state and federal courts, to include trials out of state in New Mexico and Missouri. I have tried multi ton drug conspiracy cases in federal court in several cities in Texas. I have tried cases involving conspiracy to possess milliions of dollars of counterfeit currency. I have tried multiple DWI cases and serious Aggravated Sexual Assault cases.
When necessary, which is in fact quite freqent, I have enlisted the assistance of experts to assist in providing the most effective defense to our clients.
My approach to the practice of criminal defense work is not to run my client's case through the system, so to speak, but rather to discern and develop a legal defense and then work to obtain the best possible result for our clients. This approach is inconsistent with working out a plea bargain at the first opportunity. While a plea bargain is an option, it should not be the first and it is not the first in my practice of criminal law.
Finally, I will never lie to you, mislead you or tell you what you want to hear. I will always tell it like it is.

Absolutely the best
He's straight to the point. Took care of a felony charge and got it taken down to a misdemeanor. Over the past year Mr. Solis has fought for me to have the best outcome. I was on an ankle monitor and he was able to help me get to my grandmother funeral in Hawaii. I'm so glad he was available to hire....

He delivered great results for me as he was able to get my charges dismissed, before even going to trial! Mr. Solis is extremely good at what he does. He is tough, intellig...

Case .. DISMISSED!
In two years, Mr Solis was able to get 3 felony (aggravated assault with a deadly weapon) charges for an erroneous arrest I had been battling for 7 years prior, dismissed. All counts. When I first retained Mr Solis , he asked what transpired and not only listened but heard the words I spoke . He beli...

"Ed and I represented co-defendants in a three week jury trial in federal court, where the charge carried a sentence of ten years to life. The defendants that Ed and I represented are both free men today. Ed's knowledge of criminal law and procedure is excellent, and he is a zealous advocate for his clients."
