We hired Wannamaker Crimmigration and attorney Omar Carmona for my family member case expecting serious representation and consistent communication. Unfortunately, communication became very limited. We had to constantly follow up to get updates, and he couldn’t answer most of our questions. From our ...experience, there was a lack of attention, urgency, and meaningful action on the case. We did not see the level of effort or progress we were led to expect at the beginning. The case was not handled with the care or priority it required. Based on our experience, we would not recommend their services.

My sister feels that he stole her money because he didn’t do anything to help solve her husband’s case. He didn’t even visit him before the immigration hearing and arrived late on the day of the immigration court hearing. He asked to be paid the rest of his money before the hearing, and that was it. ...My sister has tried contacting him and his office to get copies of some of the case documents, but they still haven’t responded to her. She is a hardworking woman with two children and a family that depends on her. It is unbelievable that this so-called lawyer provided such poor representation and terrible service.

Mr. Omar Carmona did an amazing job in representing me and my case. I was Accused of a crime that I didn't commit and I refused to accept an offer or receive any prison time. We took this to trial, Omar Carmona represented me in this specific case. I couldn't have this stigma stick with me, but they ...did there jobs. I was facing 5-99 years in prison and 2-20 for another count. My life was in their hand and they presented my case with excellence. I was found not guilty. Amen. God bless him his family. I owe them. Omar is absolutely the best! If you are a parent that needs representation for your child I am living proof that Omar will fight tirelessly from beginning to end for you and your child and if you are in need of a defense attorney Omar will move mountains to protect your rights and freedom. 4 ½ years ...ago I received a call from Omar that my son had been arrested on the highest charge possible in Texas. I live in another state and was a 10 hour drive away from my son so the fear that set in was unimaginable, however, I can tell you that despite my fear Omar assured me WE would get through this, that provided a sense of calm that remained present the entire length of our ordeal. We went through two trials both ending in a mistrial with a vote of 11-1 not guilty and Omar never gave up; he fought until the case was finally dismissed. Even after receiving notice of the dismissal Omar continued to work to ensure the dismissal would allow a future for my son. He worked tirelessly to stop a devastating blow to my son’s record and future because of the wording of the dismissal, if it were not for his dedication and hard work things may have ended very differently for my family. Omar made us feel like we were in charge of my son’s defense not just a part of it which was liberating. It is because of his innovative thinking and dedication that I have my son back and my son has his life back. He is truly God sent and I am eternally grateful that he was put in our lives despite the circumstances of our meeting.
