I primarily represent plaintiff's in civil cases. The majority of the cases are personal injury, but I also represent parties in commercial litigation. I spent the first 15 years of my practice in larger law firms handling primarily commercial cases. Since 2001 my practice has been withByrd Davis Alden & Henrichson, handling both personal injury and commercial cases. I have been listed in "Best Lawyers in America" for personal injury, business and "bet-the-company" litigation. I have also been listed by Texas Monthly as a "Super Lawyer" and have been AV rated by Martindale Hubbell since 1996.
I enjoyed a career as a commercial litigator for a number of years before focusing on the injured.

Great Attorney

Wallace v. Barfield
The Jury found the defendant 100% responsible and awarded $904,377.58 in damages
Rodriguez v. Boyce Industries and Senderro Constgruction, INc.
Pre-trial settled with the subcontractor that installed the guardrails for a confidential amount. Tried case against the general contractor alone. Jury returned a verdict that general contractor was 98% liable, and awarded $2.8 million in damages.
Rodriguez v. Senderro
At trial against the general contractor, the jury found the genearl contractor 98% responsbile, and awarded damages totaling $3,145,104.12
Calvert v. Johnson
Jury returned a verdict for $8 million, finding the day care driver 65% responsible and the bus driver 35% responsible.
Brochtrup v. Mercury Marine,
The unanimous jury returned a verdict in our favor, awarding the client $3.9 million. The case was upheld on appeal before the United States Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit.

Jury awarded $3,859,817.78 in damages.
Yarrington Road Materials v. Waukesha-Pearce Industries and Kolberg-Pioneer, Inc.
Jury found both fraud and breach of warranty. Jury awarded damages over $4 million. The case was settled before judgment was entered.
