Attorney, Tony Díaz is a native Texan and a graduate of the University of Texas at El Paso where he was bestowed a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and the University of Texas at Austin - School of Law where he was bestowed a Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree. Mr. Díaz also holds a Certificate in Mediation from the University of Texas at Austin - School of Laws – Center for Public Policy Dispute Resolution. Mr. Díaz has been in private law practice in Austin, Texas for some 33 years, practicing in Immigration and Nationality Law, State and Federal Civil Trial Law and Criminal Defense. Mr. Díaz has argued cases before many of the appellate courts throughout the State. Mr. Díaz has appeared in Federal Court in numerous venues and has been licensed in the U. S. Court of Military Appeals, and the U.S. Western and Southern Districts of Texas.
Mr. Díaz has tried numerous civil and criminal cases to juries throughout the State of Texas with favorable results for his clients. In addition to working with clients locally in Austin, Mr. Díaz has assisted clients throughout Texas and has practiced in other states pro hac vice. Mr. Díaz is a Puerto Rican- American, and is therefore fluent in English and Spanish. Mr. Díaz and his wife Nena M. Marín de Díaz, Ph.D., a native of Venezuela, enjoy fishing, sailing, snorkeling and traveling. Mr. Diaz has lived throughout the United States and Puerto Rico and in Japan, Germany, and France and has visited Venezuela and Mexico.
