A Fierce Advocate Who Truly Cares About Her Clients

Nicole is the only attorney who believed in me and took on my case when others wouldn’t. From the start, she has been empathetic, a true listener, and always put people first. At the same time, she’s aggressive when it comes to fighting for justice and exceptionally skilled in her craft as a lawyer. ...I’m grateful not only for her legal expertise, but also for her compassion and unwavering support throughout this process. She is everything you would hope for in an attorney — and more.

I highly recommend Nicole.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Nicole Conger for a work related legal matter. From the outset, Nicole was professional, knowledgeable, and attentive to my needs. She took the time to explain every aspect of my case, ensuring I fully understood the legal process and my options. What st...ood out most was Nicole's ability to negotiate effectively with the opposing party and communicate clearly and promptly. Her dedication and attention to detail helped to secure a positive outcome, and I always felt confident that my best interests were her priority. I highly recommend Nicole Conger to anyone in need of legal assistance. Her expertise and client-focused approach make her an excellent choice for anyone seeking quality legal representation.

Not just an attorney but a light in a dark and uncertain world!

In April 2023 I was wrongfully terminated after years of enduring gender and disability discrimination from my employer. I was devastated, I felt chewed up and spit out. I couldn’t believe that after nearly 4 years of tirelessly working for my employer, making their business profitable, my employ...er not only terminated me but attempted to blindside me into signing all of my legal rights away in exchange for a severance offer that was not reflective of my years of service and profit my employer gained from my talents. My employer also demanded I sign a non-compete which would ultimately put me in a position of losing all of the connections and contacts I built during my time developing important relationships. I was shocked and appalled. I felt absolutely lost and didn’t know how I was going to pick up the pieces. I searched employment attorneys in my area and found Nicole’s website. I read the reviews and decided to contact her after never hearing back from several large law firms. Without delay, Nicole responded to my questions, she assured me of my legal rights, and she led me through the process of pursuing an EEOC charge of discrimination. She championed the way through the process, was knowledgeable, but also honest and transparent to best manage my expectations. I never would have pursued the legal process had I not had her voice of reason and encouragement throughout the course of 9 months working with her on my case. Nicole was able to orchestrate a mediation with my former employer that awarded me over 4 times what was originally offered to me in their severance agreement. Not only was I financially awarded a better agreement, I didn’t have to sign a non-compete contract and was able to pursue my career within the same field and maintain the valuable relationships I had built over the years. What was once a very scary and uncertain future when my world crashed down around me is now full of purpose and opportunity. Nicole eased my mind and had me trust the process. I had confidence in her knowledge of the law and my rights, and through her work to advocate for my best interest she helped me walk away from this traumatic life event with self confidence and dignity. I’m grateful that she is out there, giving a strong foundation to so many whose voices are often stifled by intimidation and compromised confidence that’s exploited by many employers. I’ll forever hold Nicole dear to me, and know that she is committed to her cause to advocate for those who are often without representation within the work force. You won’t regret working with Nicole. She will prioritize your best interest and she won’t ever give up on you. She is as much a healer as she is a knowledgeable litigator in employment law and your rights in the state of Texas.

Stellar support with Employer Discrimination after COVID leave

I consulted Nicole when I returned to work after being unable to work for 12 weeks with COVID. Rather than welcoming me back, my manager appeared to be suspicious of my reasons for taking leave and made me feel that they no longer trusted me. This distrust was devastating to me, as I pride myself in... being very trustworthy, hardworking, and honest. My manager created such a hostile work environment that I was unable to focus and concentrate, and I felt almost paralyzed when I had to work with them. My mental health became much worse, I suffered extreme anxiety, and lingering symptoms of COVID further hindered my ability to perform my job. After over a year of working in this hostile environment, my declining mental and physical health forced me to use all of my medical leave and begin disability leave. Nicole’s counsel was invaluable in helping me to understand that I was being discriminated against because of my disability (depression and anxiety), gender and age. She made me realize that working in a hostile work environment for over a year negatively affected my ability to do my job and may have reduced my ability to return to work in my field in the future. Had I not returned to such a hostile work environment, I likely would not have experienced the severe anxiety and resulting physical health problems. As it was, my health was further compromised and the need to take medications to address the extreme anxiety worsened the situation. Physical health problems that I believe were due to long COVID were exacerbated, my ability to support my family was jeopardized, and my confidence in my abilities was undermined. In the midst of these negative influences on my mental health, Nicole's positive attitude, support and reassurance was comforting and gave me hope. Nicole continues to counsel me about whether to return to work at my present employer, apply for long-term disability, take an unpaid leave of absence from work, or await further action by my employer. She also advised me to seek other employment, and I will begin searching for another job as soon as I feel physically able to do so. I feel better knowing that Nicole is available as a resource should I encounter additional problems with my employer.
