About me

I love being a personal injury attorney because it lets me help people who I find in terrible situations and make things better for them.

Originally from Houston, Texas, I graduated from Klein Oak High School and left for boot camp in the United States Army the next week. I served in the Military Intelligence Corps and proudly became part of the 101st Airborne Division at Fort Campbell, Kentucky.

After receiving an Honorable Discharge from the Army, I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in History with a minor in American Studies. After a very brief move to New York City, I returned to Texas and completed law school at St. Mary's University. In law school, I excelled in first year moot court competitions and was distinguished with three "best speaker" awards.

Throughout undergraduate school and law school, I worked at law firms handling personal injury cases. First, I began my legal career at Brown McCarroll working as a litigation clerk on the defense side of catastrophic injuries that often involved multiple deaths at one time (such as tire blowout cases and commercial truck wrecks).

I left working on the defense side when I went to work for Board Certified personal injury attorney Mark Long here in Austin. Under Mark's expert direction, I learned how to represent injured Texans and how to fight to get them everything they deserved under the law.

Today my practice is solely dedicated to representing injured Texans in all sorts of personal injury cases, but primarily those tend to happen in car wrecks, motorcycle wrecks, bike crashes, animal bites, and falls that happen at shopping centers.

In my personal time, I am a 23-year pianist and love my two dogs, Jackie & Trooper. Seeing other parts of the world and understanding other cultures is important to me, and I have traveled through India, China, Italy, Germany, France, and much of America by road.
