I simply cannot adequately put into words how amazing Ben is. The short version of this review is, JUST HIRE BEN! The long version is as follows: Ben was the second attorney I hired for my divorce and he should have been the first!! Ben makes you feel like you are his only client. He is extremely... responsive (a rarity in this field--trust me, I am a family law paralegal) and knowledgeable. Ben is beyond intelligent. He also acts voraciously and proactively on his client's behalf and protects their interests. He is a "bull-dog" in the Courtroom. My case had several depositions and hearings and I always felt extremely confident to have Ben representing me. He always knew what to say, his statements always backed up with facts and case law, and his intellect unmatched. I always felt like I had the upper-hand with Ben by my side. Ben does not sugar coat anything. He is honest and straightforward and will realistically manage your expectations. He under promises and over delivers. He also bills incredibly fair. Divorce is never easy, and mine was particularly nasty. I can unequivocally say that hiring Ben was the best decision I made throughout the process. Ben is an brilliant, honest, and efficient attorney. He takes the time to help you understand the process, and his response time to emails and phone cal...ls is absolutely stellar. Wow! What a Top Notch Litigator! Due to unforeseen life circumstances which involved pursuing legal actions against employer among other high ranking officials. I was now embroiled in a divorce property case dispute. After 9 distrusted attorneys whom I terminated. Ben was highly recommended to me b...y new-comer in my neighborhood. Having an opportunity to get modifications in regards to child custody is a huge challenge for a father, especially in Texas. Ben exceeded expectations and was able to get my ex-wife to compromise what was best for our son. After using another attorney who failed to fully represent me, I searched f...or a great attorney who would fight for me. I spoke with at least twenty to thirty different personal attorneys during the search. Ben stood out as someone who was honest, straight forward, and would be committed. After hiring him and he took on the case, I felt very comfortable that he was ahead of the game. He quickly began taking steps to get the scales balanced. Ben filed the documents with the specificity I requested and followed up consistently. After getting the judge to agree to extend the hearing date, Ben scheduled a deposition and took to the necessary steps to prepare for the hearing. During the deposition with my ex-wife, he was assertive, professional, and was able to get her to give information that could be used in court. Between the deposition and the scheduled hearing, Ben followed up with any requests and was aggressive when he needed to be. My major concerns were to have my son back in school (no longer home schooled by his mother), being involved in his educational planning, spending more time with him, and having geographical restrictions. All of this was accomplished and Ben always made me feel like we had the upper hand during the case. One of the best things about him, is he is truly honest and will not just tell you what you want to hear. He literally told me multiple times, "you're going to spend more money that way," when it came to some of my impulse ideas. How many attorneys are going to try to save you money?
