Allison Lynn Bowers

I practice primarily employment law on behalf of employers.  I provide legal counsel to both small and large companies concerning termination and management of employees and compliance with various laws relating to the workforce. I draft various types of employment agreements and policies.  In addition to defending traditional employment law claims, I have also litigated cases involving non-competition and theft of trade secret issues. I have argued at state and federal appellate courts and have represented clients in front of various arbitration panels and at trial.

My partner and I also conduct independent investigations into employee complaints.  We have been retained by other law firms and directly by employers.  Our investigation practice is national in scope.  We have traveled extensively throughout the United States and internationally to conduct our investigations.

I graduated in the top of my class from the University of Texas with a Plan II major and was elected Phi Beta Kappa. I attended the University of Texas School of Law where I again graduated with honors, after serving on the Texas Law Review. I clerked for Judge Lee Yeakel, now of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas in Austin. I practiced with Baker Botts LLP before co-founding Hutcheson Bowers LLLP with my long-time colleague, Shannon Hutcheson.
