Sarah Katherine Brandon

Sarah has been a true blessing in my life! She counseled me through my divorce 6 years ago and currently with my child support case. She is compassionate yet, firm. She knows the law and gives sound, objective advice. She has unlimited compassion for the children in her cases and puts their wellb...eing first. Her integrity proceeds her, which is evident in the respect demonstrated toward her by colleagues in the courtroom. She has always charged me fairly, and she is worth every penny!!! And, her staff is amazing - organized and responsive. They contribute to successful cases by keeping Sarah prepared! I've been endlessly impressed with the servant leadership demonstrated by Sarah and the team.

I could not be happier to review Sarah Brandon. She was everything I could of hoped for in an Attorney. She was always prompt and to the point in my case. Sarah was so wonderful and did an amazing job addressing my needs and concerns during my divorce decree modification. She is great at explaini...ng the in's and out's of the legal process and is amazing with opposing councel. I was able to get custody of my two children because of her.

Mrs. Brandon has represented me in two different cases. The first was my divorce. Her advice both legally and financially helped to make a very difficult situation easy to understand. She is comforting, extremely knowledgeable and helped me to secure a good legal decision. The second case was a ...bit more complicated as I have custody of two of my grand kids. This could have been a volatile situation and sometimes it was but Mrs. Brandon worked with apposing counsel extensively to provide a positive outcome in sharing custody of the children between me and their mother. I would highly recommend her and her team of experts!

I used Sarah for a very difficult divorce. She was supportive and kind to me throughout the very difficult time in my life. She is tough with the opposition and extremely knowledgeable on every single aspect of the law. Every small detail is discussed and if important brought into the legal procee...dings. She kept me positive and motivated throughout the entire process. She won 70% of the marital assets to be awarded to the husband (me) which is difficult in the State of Texas. I have since remarried, my life is heaven on earth now. I used her again for a child adoptions. She made the entire process run very smooth. She is a positive life changer. I would not go with any other attorney.

First off—I do not write reviews—and here I am. Sarah is not going to give you any high-pressure sales pitches to get your business, quite the contrary. Quite frankly, she probably doesn’t need your business as she has a very successful firm—and if you’re a scumbag she’s not going to take your money,... so don’t bother. She’ll tell you there are lots of good attorneys in the area as options (there are) and she’ll even refer you out based on your situation. I agree, there undoubtedly are many bright, talented, and capable attorneys in the Austin area ... however, what she won’t tell you is that she’s the one of the best. I certainly think she is, and this review is not based on the fact that “we won.” Yes, I can sleep now, knowing that my little one is safe and we did in fact “win,” but I would have recommended her firm either way and here’s why: She and her staff far exceeded my expectations in regard to preparation, review, and proactive filing. Sarah is always thinking and planning ahead and ensures an active file is properly maintained. I have seen various other attorneys’ “fall off” of a case (not pay as close attention to) the longer they are employed, but she’s not going to cease her firm’s fervent attention to a case if she’s been adequately retained, no matter how long your file is active. She’s also going to tell you she’s expensive—and there’s truth in that—but understand this…attorneys are expensive, period. Nearly any attorney is going to be expensive, and any GOOD attorney is absolutely going to be expensive, period. Was she expensive—yes—however, if only we had found her sooner, we would have saved so much money. How could this be? Because Sarah and her staff get things done. I cannot tell you how many times we’d been to court only to find out about another delay, another avoidable issue that could have been prevented or fixed with proactive filings, or plain unpreparedness of prior counsel that resulted in further expense and excessive delay. Sarah and her team are going to do the best job possible from as soon as they take on a case, until it is resolved. I did not always understand why she wanted or asked for certain things—but I am glad we heeded her advice. What I am saying is... it is in you or your child’s best interest to listen to what she tells you. I am a stubborn mule myself, and I know to shut my yapper and listen to this woman, because she knows what she’s doing (even when you might not understand the why…there IS a why). Her reputation with the court and just about anyone you’re going to run into there is truly astounding—she has clearly earned her status and is respected by everyone involved in the courts in which she practices. If you truly know you’re in the right in your situation and need a strong advocate on your side—do your best to get Sarah. If you’re a scumbag, don’t bother wasting her time—it will likely end up hurting you somehow—she seems to know everyone—ha! Finally, I cannot properly review her firm without another mention of her staff—they are all highly trained and more knowledgeable than most. Sweet, sweet, Alicia’s big heart and genuine concern for my little one (and us) kept me hanging on through the process, even when I thought I was going to lose my wits. Side note—we have an INTENSE and difficult case. I knew I could call Alicia and get a quick response and that meant so much more than she even knows. It’s not often you find a great firm, and it’s very rare you find a firm that brings the level of experience, talent, zeal, and compassion as this firm does.
