Here is a fabulous attorney

We would highly recommend Eric Willie and his staff. We hired Eric 3 years ago to help us fight for custody of a baby boy that we attempted to adopt and the father contested his rights being terminated. Eric was all ways calm when we would call him upset by something the other side would do or say.... Eric and his staff was always prompt on returning phone calls and emails. Our case ended up in a jury trial in Sept of 2013 and Eric was very cool, calm, and organized. He made us feel calm while testifying. It is also very apparent of the amount of respect that the judge has for him. His legal assistant was awesome too. Eric was able to get us sole managing conservator. We have not only found a great attorney, we have found a friend in Eric and his staff. Do not pass him up!!!!

Experience, and Integrity

If you thought you couldn’t find integrity, skill and compassion in your legal counsel, think again, because you will find all of that at Willie Dasher law firm. We didn’t have much to hope for in our never-ending, stressful, extremely challenging case. We have been sued frivolously multiple tim...es for custody as a means of deliberately draining our finances. Our previous lawyer took advantage of us and was also found them to be highly unethical. She put our already uphill battle into a whole new realm of stress and difficulty and sold us out when the opposing party switched attorneys to someone she was close personal friends with, at which point she made several decisions that almost cost us everything. We were losing hope and were just hoping to come out as unscathed as possible. Enter Eric Willie. We called him, and he right away was asking all of the right questions. This attorney has experience you can trust and he can alleviate your concerns. If you are a reasonable player in your battle, his office is where you need to be. You can count on him to deal professionally and capably with any shortcomings in your case, without throwing you under the bus. He tends to know most of the players, as he has been at this for quite some time. He is highly respected in his field and for all of the right reasons. He will not sell you out and he will give it to you straight, which is something I really value in people in general, but lawyers most importantly. Our situation came out better than we had expected, especially given the cluster of crap we handed to him. His opening argument was so well-prepared and thoughtful that the opposing counsel actually stammered. Further, his paralegals are sweet and helpful and compliment his work well. I highly recommend Eric Willie if you are dealing with a difficult family law situation.

not trustworthy.

I hired this attorney to represent me in a contentious family law matter involving my son. He assured me that he could handle my case and deal with a very aggressive opposing attorney. His work was disastrous because Mr. Willie did not do the proper research nor did he seem to make any attempt to... understand what the actual legal situation was for me and my son. The proper paperwork was not filed with the court and Mr. Willie never followed up on efforts to have a mediated agreement enforced. After temporary orders were issued, Mr. Willie would not respond to my requests for information. Instead his communications to me were inappropriate and hostile, and I was forced to hire another attorney. Based on my experience, it is my opinion that Mr. Willie is deceptive and untrustworthy.

One Hit Wonder!!

Eric Willie is a "ONE HIT WONDER!" It appears that since the initial dust from my divorce has settled, Eric took my money, which included an additional $1500 on top of the $5000 I paid that was to be a flat fee for ALL ISSUES related to my case and was not, and high tailed it without warning! There i...s still an issue lingering surrounding our family residence and we were to address that issue after a six month time period after the divorce was signed by the judge. Well, that six months is up and I have heard NOTHING from Eric or anyone from his office. I also received no communication that Mr. Willie is no longer representing me, so if you ask me if I have an attorney, that I really can't answer. I do know though and can prove with my communication efforts that he has not "finished what was started" and is making no attempts to contact me. I feel as though I was baited in to hire him because he assured me that he could clean up what a previous attorney messed up, which he did, but after being asked to appear again and charged the additional funds by Eric, then the time period for which we were to address the house being sold and not hearing from Mr. Willie (even with me offering to shell out more money, even though I was to only pay a flat fee surrounding my divorce) I have to recant my initial comment. Mr. Willie is a good attorney, initially and for short cases, but if you have something that might require him to actually WORK beyond a couple times in court, this is where he fails, in my opinion! After getting every cent Eric asked for and giving him such rave reviews, upon HIS request, I would think he would have had the decency to finish the case he started... instead, I got a "one hit wonder," out of Eric Willie... Get your pocket books ready, but be prepared to pay someone else to finish Eric's job.

A+ Attorney

I used Eric about 1.5yrs ago to handle my divorce. When i first communicated with Eric i was out of state, nervous about the divorce proceedings, nervous about my finances and the impact my divorce would have on our kids, nervous about our possessions, and nervous about being one of those really ugl...y divorce stories. I had no previous experience working with divorce lawyers but after speaking/interviewing with several other attorney's I made the decision to work with Eric. It was one of the best decisions I have made. I can honestly say that all those nerves i had going into this were real but Eric did a real good job of explaining things to me, was standing right beside me on the final day when i went up in front of the judge, was responsive, and very knowledgeable. Aside from the positive and professional customer service, I couldn't be more happy about the terms of the divorce. I literally got everything I wanted... I kept the house i worked so hard to buy at a young age, the minimal amount of child support required, the custody arrangements of my preference, and a very fair split of the remaining assets. I do think it is worth noting that my ex's attorney was well known so this was no walk in the park for Eric. Eric and I were in mediation from about 8am 6:30pm, and he would have been there with me if it was from 8am - 6:30am the next day. As you can tell i was very pleased with his services and have him helping me on a case right now against the attorney generals office and the records they have on file regarding my child support payments. This time around I have none of the nerves I had before working with Eric.
