When I decided to file for divorce, I googled the "best family attorney" in Austin and got Kirker's firm as one of the top ... well, I did not know that hiring that firm does not mean getting a good lawyer, or an experienced lawyer. I got a very inexperienced lawyer who appeared incompetent and con...stantly unprepared. Kody did not only lack the basic understanding of how to maximize the gains of his client ... he was consistently unprepared and always reacting to the other party's filings or actions. Kody and his paralegal Priscilla were excellent to work with. As an active and involved father that was caught off guard with a divorce request from my ex-wife who wanted to move my son away from Austin to a city we had never lived in, I was a bit distraught to say the least.
