Blair Carroll has made a career of defending Texans accused of crimes. Years before he formed Carroll Troberman Criminal Defense with Meredith Shelly Troberman, Blair began his legal career defending people accused of DWI in the Dallas area. Blair worked under nationally recognized DWI attorney Mimi Coffey, managing the Dallas office and a caseload dedicated exclusively to defending those accused of DWI.
In 2007, Blair moved to Austin and joined The Kyle Law Firm to defend criminal cases in courts throughout the I-35 corridor. Since moving to Austin, Blair has successfully defended hundreds of clients charged with crimes ranging from possession of marijuana to murder.
Prosecution for all crimes is on the rise in Central Texas. Blair has responded by embracing the complexities of DWI defense and blood/alcohol analysis while also balancing the needs and expectations of his clients. His experience in both the courtroom and behind the scenes negotiating with prosecutors helps him to provide the best results for his clients and has earned him the respect and acknowledgement of his peers. Blairâs notoriety among his peers for being a highly skilled DWI defense attorney led to his peer-nominated acceptance to membership in the esteemed National College for DUI Defense.
