Travis took my case for a DWI in Febuary 2010 for a fee of $2000. After that He never returned my calls. Months went by with no communication. In June I received a notice from Travis county that I had failed to appear in court. My attorney did not appear, nor was I ever notified. A new date was set. ...Travis still would not respond to my frequent request to speak to him. In July I received a second notice of failure to appear and forfiture of my bond. I had to pay an additional fine of $300 for this and took care of it myself with the Travis county courts. The court appointed another lawyer and settled my case within two weeks. I am out $2300.
