After submitting the electronic form describing my issue, Richard got back to me the next day, and I was able to descibe the matter over the phone in detail. Although the monetary amount wasn't great, "it was the principle of the thing," and he understood why it was important to me to deal with it. H...e kept costs low by letting me scan and send documents to him, and he kept me informed by phone and by email, giving the other attorney time to get with his client. Having Richard call the other attorney and politely lay out the relative merits of the case, including the prospect of sanctions for a frivolous lawsuit, was the key. Resolving this matter was especially gratifying because I live in the Pacific Northwest and had visions of having to come to Texas to deal with this matter. His high quality, compassionate professionalism was always in the forefront and never wavered. I never felt alone or isolated in this trying and painful process. I am 100% certain I made a good choice when I selected Richard to represent me in my divorce.
