Biography
I was raised in the west Texas town of Abilene, where my dad was a Legal Aid Lawyer and my mom a probation officer for the county. I received a Bachelor of Science degree from Southwest Texas State University in 2000 and was a case manager for adults with developmental disabilities after college. I graduated with honors from Thurgood Marshall School of Law in 2006.
