I met Mr. Trevena via a physician residency program I was meant to train at but could not, due to a very complex situation; conflicting “definitions” of out of status as described by TX statutes and what USCIS versus the U.S Embassy in Lagos, Nigeria, (my home country), deems it to be. I am a Swiss Citizen who came to the US as an exchange student with a J-1 visa.
