I have been Board Certified in Immigration and Nationality Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since December 1997. Formerly, I was the Chair of the Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico Chapter of the American Immgiration Lawyers Association.
I also was the Chair of the Advisory and the Chair of the Examinations Committees for Immigration and Nationality Law at the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
I am a Life Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation. And I am an Honors graduate of the Univeristy of Texas at Austin, School of Law and hold a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from Arizona State University.
I have been recognized by the American Immigration Lawyers Association with its President's Award "For Tremendous Advocacy on Behalf of Immigrants and Your Outstanding Contributions to the Association.” June 21, 1997
