Hurt and Disappointed

Our Son hire Mr. Carter to actually do a walk through pertaining to a warrant and before this could happen our Son was stopped and taken to jail, long story short, after not receiving a job well done through Mr. Carter my Son adk that Mr. Carter be terminated of his duty and he could keep the money, ...then Mr. Carter wanted to reply, to all be careful in who you hire, I wouldn't ever recommend this young man to anyone.

Dont use him

Kenavon took money from me and refused to refund me for services that he never performed. He has does this before to someone. It has been almost 6 months that I have tried to get my refund. I will be going to the State Bar regards to this.

Pick another criminal defense lawyer, KC is not very good

KC the "hip hop" lawyer was not a great choice for my criminal defense charges. He was very attentive when we first met at his office but over time he was not available to me when I needed him most. My case was reset time after time , month after month and in the end I was still charged with a felony... convection so it was a loss of money and time.

Kenavon - was the wrong choice, wish I had picked a lawyer with more experience, he did not represent me well in court...

In general he was very late to court and showed up for only a brief time and was very rushed when I would ask him important questions that could have made a big difference in my case. He sounded good over the phone and was very personable the first few times we met but after he got my payment of $500...0 I really did not see much of him after that. Only could meet with him in court and did not feel like he was taking my case seriously and he could have been more prepared and available to communicate with me. I called and left several voicemails with his answering service but did not get calls returned. He presented himself as a cool hip hop kind of guy but that persona does not go over very well with a judge and jury so in hindsight I really wish I had gone with someone who was more mature and had more courtroom experience. He promised that he had connections that would help get my case dropped but in the end I got probation and I could of done that with a free court apointed attorney so it was a waste of $5000. But hopefully my case was not typical and maybe he is better at other types of law, I just would not recommend him for criminal defense especially when your future is on the line.
