Fantastic attorney

I found myself in a situation where I need a defense attorney. It was bound to happen sooner or later. Not only was she sympathetic to my needs, she was fast. She cleared my name in no time.

Awesome litigator

My first encounter with Kellie was, of all places, in the county jail I had already fired 2 lawyers because they weren't qualified enough in my opinion to represent me. I had not been in any trouble in 30 years and since then had turned my life around and started a non profit organization MPAC geared... towards gang intervention. My theory was that of a immunologist. I felt that in order to battle a deadly virus or cancer was to do introduce another virus that would attack the deadly virus but not harm the patient. A good virus, so to speak. I and others who had been to prison before and had turned our lives around implemented this science in field of gang intervention. We were successful and we were able to reach youth at risk and even gang members using aggressive sports such as boxing, mixed martial arts and submission fighting as a middle ground to attract this type of individual. I am an ex pro fighter and I trained a lot of these gangsters and was successful in organizing the first football game in the area between the bloods and the crips when relations between the two were still volatile. We had many achievements and was glad that I did what I could for youth at risk and those who left the life of crime for a better future. I always put my self at risk and tell you how many times I had guns pulled on me or rode in cars that were probably loaded with drugs just to reach an individual I knew I could pull out of the criminal element. There were times I got pulled over but I was never arrested when drugs were found because even if the owner didn't cop to ownership the cops knew me and I was always let go. I never would accept payment for what i did because I felt that I had to. I never wanted anyone to go through what I did in prison. I even went to prison for my brother for something I couldn't have done because I was locked up during the time and my brother had never went to prison and had served our country valiantly. Now that I look back I have no regrets because he never got in trouble again and lived a good life. I even risked my life to pull 3 people from a truck train collision and almost lost my life in doing so but I was supposed to be there or the kid who lost his leg in the accident would have died. I feel that it is my duty to find the good in people and if i have to risk my life in doing so then so be it. I was a guest speaker one year at St. Edwards University on Drugs, gangs and violence in our city. I love what I do and it was imperative that I laid out the background because it was during one these gang intervention episodes that I was arrested. I laid out on a what I wanted done on a piece of paper starting with bond reduction, writ of habeus etc.. and Kellie was the only one that not only belived me but fought hard for me during habeus hearing when I was willing to give up. My bond had been raised from $100,000 to $200,000 and even though I knew we had a good case I was tired and who would give a sh#!t about an ex con besides I was dragging my family through the mud. She looked at me in the courtroom when I asked her to plea bargain for me and said "let me fight for you you are a dynamic human being and if i can't do this I will respect your wishes and plea you out." I was preparing myself for the worst and visions of prison were playing out in my head when after 30 minutes she came out with the biggest smile on her face and gave me a thumbs up. I was in awe when she told me that I was being released on a P.R bond. She had done it. I was free. I want to thank you Kellie, my daughter wants to thank you, she's pregnant with my granddaughter my son thanks you and I know that we still have a battle ahead of us but I will not worry because to me you are the best and to let you guys know I still haven't paid her in full and not one time has she asked me to do so. I will though lol. May God Bess you Kellie you are one helluva gal.

Relationship: Worked together on matter

"I was very impressed with Kellies' diligence in representing a mutual client. We were both Court appointed, she in Travis County and I in Hays County. I have known few court appointed lawyers ( or lawyers for that matter) to take the time and interest in her clients as she has. I wished more lawyers were like Kellie"
