Case dismissed!

Being active duty military, I found myself in a legal situation with lots of scheduling and financial constraints and James was there every step of the way!! He worked with me and heard every one of my concerns, today I received my verdict and I could not be happier with the outcome! Thank you very m...uch Mr. Sustaita!

Appropriate $12,000.00

to handle traffic case and civil issue case, but did nothing. He doesn't show up for our scheduled meetings nor answer his phone and emails. Makeup excuses for not doing anything and hide how these cases escalate due to his negligence. I found a lawyer who did the work for less money and was more eff...icient.

Research

I hired James to do my divorce. He frequently did not show for appointments and did not return e-mails or phone calls. I was hit for 75% of the medical expenses (should have been 50%) which cost me thousands of dollars. Paperwork was not filed in a timely manner regarding the custody of my daughter w...hich cost me a few more thousand dollars. My experience is not uncommon from what I have learned. I filed a grievance.

My ex didnt have a chance at taking my daughter away

James had less than 4 days to help prepare a case for me. My ex was seeking full custody, made felonious accusations about my other child and only wanted to grant me supervised visits. James was able to discredit my ex and his fiancee as well as every single accusation they made. I have my daughter b...ecause of James and the awesome work his firm did.

Best Possible Outcome

James Sustaita is a very competent criminal defense attorney, who got my legal charge dismissed and proved very helpful during extra-legal proceedings including a hearing. However, my family and I found him very difficult to work with. He carries a heavy case load, admits that he works best under pre...ssure, and knows exactly what needs to be done and when. This meant that he was often frustratingly unresponsive. Promises he made about non-critical matters were often not kept. In short, he got us where we wanted to go, but the ride was gut-wrenching.
