I'm glad I hired David Frank as my attorney. He gave me a fair price for his services and I was able to make payments. He was honest about all possible outcomes with my case, he demonstrated confidence and was professional at all times. Because of this I felt more secure with David by my side at cour...t hearings. The office staff members were also very helpful and easy to communicate with throughout my case. Our first approach was attempting to have my case dismissed, unfortunately the prosecutor would not allow it. Our only other option was to take it to trail. I was facing the possibility of incarceration for twelve months. David was able to prove my innocence and I walk out of the court room with no charges, and no probation. A clean record like it never happened. David fought exactly how I expected; he was assertive and aggressive. I highly recommend David Frank and his office. If you want the best he's it. I was able to witness many other attorneys and their clients at court hearings and I felt sorry for them. The clients attorneys seemed lazy and just plain uninterested. You won't get that with David. My experience with David Frank was phenomenal. He got me released from jail ASAP, and made sure I was realistically prepared for trial. I had 4 charges total, including a felony. He was able to get the FELONY dropped to a misdemeanor, and 2 other charges dropped completely. I was originally facing a... year in jail. Thanks to his awesome litigation skills, that sentence changed to 2 years probation, with an interlock device installed, 100 hours community service, and a $4000.00 fine. But that's not all. By the time we made it in front of the Judge, he was able to get my probation dropped to 18 months, interlock dropped to 1 year, community service dropped to 60 hours, and had my $4000.00 fine DISMISSED entirely. I spent years in felony court, sometimes twice a month, watching the other attorneys come in and out joking around with each-other and the prosecutors. I remember one time even hearing a prosecutor chatting it up with an attorney about how wasted they got the night before. David was by far the m...ost professional attorney that stepped foot into that court room every time. He kept conversation brief and spent his time in court concentrating on his clients. He was obviously held in high respects by the judges and the DA. I came to him on a 3rd offense felony DWI. I almost went with the big hot shot DWI guy in Austin because he was a good salesman. I thank God every day that I made the choice to go with David. He is a good person with his clients best interest at heart. It did not take long for me to realize how intelligent he was and I felt comfortable putting my life in his hands. I trusted his decisions. After an awful plea bargain from the DA he took the case to the court of appeals on the grounds that a mandatory unwarranted blood draw with two priors was, although legal in the state of Texas, an extreme violation of our constitutional rights. It took some time but we won in the court of appeals and the evidence was unmissable. There is no doubt this would have been a dismissal had I have refused the field sobriety test at the time of arrest. However, David got my felony dropped to a class b misdemeanor with no jail time, no probation, no fines, no community service and time served on my interlock device. He even got the 6K in surcharges waved because I could not afford it. I should be in prison and I am not. I can finally move on with my life and concentrate on my children and my goals without being constantly reminded of my mistakes. I have a brighter future thanks to David Frank. He deserved 7 times what I payed him. He worked very hard on my case as where some of the attorneys I have hired in the past did not. David puts all of those lawyer jokes to shame. He is a good man. When I first met David to discuss my case, he listened to my problem in a very professional manner. He totally understood my personal situation. After listening to all my concerns. He explained me the process as what to expect and gave me his recommendations. With his expertise he handled the case in... the most convenient way. David Frank is an all business no nonsense attorney. I wouldn't give David the "label" as a "typical lawyer" but as an an "attorney" for the reason(s) he is all fact(s) business related all go and no quit. From the initial phone call his staff was professional and walked my family and myself thro...ugh the entire situation. From the time his assistance showed up at the Travis County Jail to bail me out to the initial meeting with David and walking into court the first time. David and his staff have been professional right on the mark and no non-sense. My case in particular, he wanted to pursue it and take it to trial, but I was unable to cover the finical aspect(s) of going to trial so we settled for a plea bargain. David went to the DA on several occasions and worked with them and they, David and the Travis County DA, came to an agreement. I was told, "the plea bargain is this and here is where we stand..." (I don't want to give specific details because I want to remain anonymous) I in turn accepted the plea agreement and the day that we went into court to finalize it David went and talked to the DA one final time before we went in front of the judge. He then came back to me and stated that the Travis County DA has settled for less than the initial offer and here was the final offer. He reminded me that I still had a choice of taking it to trial or accepting their offer. It was discussed and agreed that I had reached a very acceptable offer and to take it to the judge for the final agreement. So we went in front of the judge and she asked specific questions David gave specific answers. The judge asked if there was any questions and David made sure that specific details of my case was covered and the details of my plea bargain were as the Travis County DA agreed to and we accepted. David Frank is a no nonsense all business lets get results "ATTORNEY." I would recommend David Frank to anyone that is in need of a respected attorney. He has gone above and beyond the call of duty for me as well as my family. When we have called his office, on many occasions, either his staff or himself have been there to answer the questions. And if he didn't have the answers to the question(s) he made it a point to find out and get back to me so I had the information so I could make an informed decision. I have other aspects of my case that needed special attention. David has not only attended to those inquiries but has also given me guidance as well as directed me who I need to speak with and how to ask the right questions so I can get the right answers. When I discuss my situation with people I have been asked more than once who my "lawyer" was... and my response is this, "my ATTORNEY was David Frank." I get funny looks he isn't one of the big DWI lawyers in town. My response to that is this. "No he isn't but he is good at what he does and I would recommend him to anyone that needs legal counsel. Wither it be a DWI or other matters. In my view if David doesn't have the answer then he knows someone who does and he will not lead you astray. He accepts your case then he is in it for the long haul and will go above and beyond the call of duty to represent his client to the best of his abilities.
