Personal Injury 49%

This is my main caseload at this time. This mainly involves making insurers pay what they have promised to pay in their insurance policies. It is surprising to me how resistant insurance companies are to simply honoring their contracts.

I have always handled divorce and custody cases throughout my entire career. These cases tend to be very draining because emotions run high, as do the lies and deceit. This is one reason I charge alot to get involved.

I call myself a "generalist" as opposed to a "specialist," because most real world problems people face do not fit neatly into one specialty. It helps to have broad experience when advising people.

I hate insurance companies, because they so rarely do what they promise they will do. I LOVE to make them PAY.

Admin law is its own world, and not a very friendly one, as the government ususally wins. But it helps to understand it and to know how to fight government agencies using it. In my opinion, admin law should not exist, as it is unconstitutional.

I have always handled car accident claims from the early days of my practice. I have seen the impact on people's lives and it is one reason I stay off the roads as much as possible, and drive very cautiously. This is Personal Injury work.

Best Attorney Ever

He represented me in a civil case and is as sharp as a whip. He genuinely cares about his clients and I have known him for 8 years now. He pays attention to all the details, has an incredible memory and his recall is spectacular, even using the smallest minute issue to score big. He deserves 10 st...ars but can only go up to 5. Highly recommend this lawyer!

Grateful client

I am not even from Texas and have never met Paul. An old, old friend of my husband's, he agreed to take my case after reading it. It was a civil lawsuit claiming defamation, harassment, all kinds of egregious things, was initially for over $1,000,000 in pain and suffering, and an attempt to take my p...rofessional license. Through his knowledge, determination, and dog with a bone attitude, we won our case lock, stock, and barrel. The judge even dismissed it WITH prejudice. I am eternally grateful for his patience, mentoring, and reassurances; also his fees which were so very reasonable as I know he went above and beyond.

Good Lawyer

Have known Paul for many years, and have used him to handle dozens of cases throughout the years since the late 80’s, spanning from divorce to felony jury trial (acquitted). He has defended or prosecuted half a dozen other cases for breach of contract on install jobs, and landlord tenant disputes, ...and we have been very pleased with the outcomes on all cases. Paul has re-designed our company contracts, policies, and procedures for business strength, along with sub-contractors' contracts. Again, totally pleased with the outcome of his knowledge of law and the tenacity on fairness and his drive and research ability to find that possible hidden piece of valuable information one will need in any trial. I will continue to use Paul for my future legal services, or if I need to sue someone, or just for sound legal advice over the phone.

Honest, kind and competent

Paul helped me with a difficult divorce. Quoted me a price and stuck to it event though he spent A LOT of extra time on it. He has reviewed contracts, handled worker unemployment claims and is available for the occasional "quick question" from me. I have referred friends to him and they thanked me af...terwards.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
