Attorney, Child Support Evader, Deadbeat Dad…

Tate Saunders is an officer of the courts in Texas, a State of Texas bar card holder in good standing (BS), Family Law Attorney, a Child Support Evader and a Deadbeat Dad! The fact that this criminal is allowed to practice law and not be behind bars is “white privilege” at its finest. He has four ...kids and he refuses to pay child support or provide health insurance since his divorce nearly four years ago. Yet, he believes it’s his right as a white man to not care for his mixed race children. Don’t hire this guy unless you believe his white privilege will transfer over to you…NOT!

This man tried to ruin my life and almost did!

Where to begin… When I was in college over 10 years ago I was pulled over and arrested for possession of a controlled substance (adderall) that I was illegally popping for the week of finals. This was a huge charge little to my knowledge and o was slapped with a felony. My dad and I hired Tate and... from the very beginning he was a weasel and a crook. He took our money and then basically vanished. He wouldn’t rerun calls or emails for weeks as I sat in jail. When I finally went to court he showed up late and advised me to take a much longer and much worse sentence than was even recommended by the state. He tried vigorously to convince me to take the harsh sentence but praise God I told him no and that I would speak to the judge directly myself. He warned me that doing this could make it even worse for me but I prayed about it and proceeded. The judge was actually confused that Tate wanted me to take such a harsh sentence and gave me a much lighter sentence that was recommended by the state. It was as if Tate was working for the DA against me. As a first time offender we were all shocked that he wasn’t able to get be a better deal and really confused as to why he didn’t even try. Thankfully I tuned my life around and learned a lesson. However, 12 years later I felt inclined to write this review because I feel I need to warn people out there about this person. He does not care about you or your problems or your family. He cares only for himself and he will screw you around in every way possible.

Worst Attorney Ever

Hired Tate over 2 years ago and still have no resolution. He refuses to respond to emails, will not call me back, and constantly misses court dates. Now I have been sued because he is incompetent and doesn't do his job. If you want to lose your case and over $100,000.00, hire this attorney.

Liar and unethical

I paid thousands of dollars with no results to have him drop cases and claimed lack of communication on my part. Seriously answer the phone and Come to court on time! Do not hire this man

Horrible Attorney

We retained Tate to represent my husband. In the beginning we paid him a total of $950. My husband decided he wanted to have a jury trial so we paid him a retainer of $2500. Tate kept putting off the case for over 2 years. We could never reach him or get him to return texts or email. We finally th...reatened to turn in in to the state bar and he set up a court date. Luckily we walked away with him paying a $350 fine. Tate refused to pay that out of the retainer money or to refund any of our money for the jury trial that we never had.
