Worse attorney every. Took my money & never showed up to any court dates. Did absolutely Nothing for my case. The “judge” had to literally write him a letter in complaint of him being noncompliant with me his paid client. Thousands by the way. Eventually fired him and had to re-hire a different atto...rney. I Want Every Penny back. I should have reported him to the Bar. Is it too late? Can I have my money back? I do Not Recommend!!! He always changing Firms also.

We hired Tate for a custody battle and paid 5k upfront to make sure it was paid in full as his request & have only went to court 2x 1.) to have my fiancé put on a temporary court order & 2.) to sign the temporary order since then we have not gotten a court date nor motions were filed that we wanted f...or the contempt of court order nor has he been in communication with us he only responds when it’s convenient for him. We paid $100 for a printed order to be given to us? So many people told us that wasn’t right that we shouldn’t have to pay for it but he just took our money and has no resolution 2 whole years later. Now that we have a final court date he tells us we have to pay him in full for A WHOLE DIFFERENT CRIMINAL CASE in a whole different county that has nothing to do with the custody case that’s been paid in full since February 2023. I had built a detailed timeline and presented a binder for court for him and during the negotiation process outside of the court I was having to tell him what we wanted or remind him of incidents that he didn’t even remember nor look over at the binder I made him. We didn’t even go into court him and the baby mother’s attorney had my fiancé and the mother come to an Agreement. August of 2024 he was suppose to file for a restraining order and a contempt of court order and never did but is requesting me to pay him 3k for it then wants 3k more for the final hearing! Seems to me he just wanted our money he is a complete fraud and lied to us stringing us along for just to withdraw off the case “for non payment” but the money owed to him is for a different case but he stated that we have to pay that in full for him to even consider doing the final hearing like MAKE THAT MAKE SENSE?! We are completely disgusted & dissatisfied with his service. One of the worst attorneys I’ve ever came across in my whole life.

Do not hire for Texas parole! I hired him for my son who was coming up for parole. All he did was cry and whine about his divorce, his dogs, and his broken down car! I should file a complaint with the Texas Bar Association. He did absolutely nothing. He did not do anything he said. He works out of hi...s home! That should be a huge indicator!

when I hired him to represent my son, he met me at a restaurant and should have run out when he was late. I felt he wanted to date me but I'm a tough old bird that give zero fu3%s. he dragged his feet on the case never allowed me to speak with him and DA. So they sentenced my son 2 years. then into h...is sentence another charge was brought up a misdemeanor, he said he needs $25000 to fight tooth and nail today thank God Almighty, $4000 got cases dismissed. DO NOT WASTE YOUR BREATHE OF HARD EARNED CASH ON THIS BOZO, SHORT FAT WHITE STALE BREAD!

Where to begin… When I was in college over 10 years ago I was pulled over and arrested for possession of a controlled substance (adderall) that I was illegally popping for the week of finals. This was a huge charge little to my knowledge and o was slapped with a felony. My dad and I hired Tate and... from the very beginning he was a weasel and a crook. He took our money and then basically vanished. He wouldn’t rerun calls or emails for weeks as I sat in jail. When I finally went to court he showed up late and advised me to take a much longer and much worse sentence than was even recommended by the state. He tried vigorously to convince me to take the harsh sentence but praise God I told him no and that I would speak to the judge directly myself. He warned me that doing this could make it even worse for me but I prayed about it and proceeded. The judge was actually confused that Tate wanted me to take such a harsh sentence and gave me a much lighter sentence that was recommended by the state. It was as if Tate was working for the DA against me. As a first time offender we were all shocked that he wasn’t able to get be a better deal and really confused as to why he didn’t even try. Thankfully I tuned my life around and learned a lesson. However, 12 years later I felt inclined to write this review because I feel I need to warn people out there about this person. He does not care about you or your problems or your family. He cares only for himself and he will screw you around in every way possible.
